Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 8638
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Whoever is asked about something he knows, then conceals it, will be bridled on the Day of Resurrection with a bridle of fire.”
Grade: Sahih
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: جس شخص سے علم کی کوئی بات پوچھی جائے اور وہ اسے خواہ مخواہ ہی چھپائے تو قیامت کے دن اس کے منہ میں آگ کی لگام دی جائے گی۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Jis shakhs se ilm ki koi baat poochi jaye aur wo usay khwah makhwah hi chhupaye to qayamat ke din uske munh mein aag ki lagaam di jayegi.
حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ: " مَنْ سُئِلَ عَنْ عِلْمٍ فَكَتَمَهُ، أَلْجَمَهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ بِلِجَامٍ مِنْ نَارٍ" .
