Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 8736
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, has taken away from you the arrogance of the Jaahiliyyah (pre-Islamic ignorance) and boasting about one’s forefathers. Now there are just two kinds of people: a righteous believer and a wretched sinner. All people are the children of Adam, and Adam was created from dust. People should give up boasting about their forefathers, for they are no more than a foul-smelling carcass in the sight of Allah, or even less than that.”

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اللہ تبارک وتعالیٰ نے تم سے جاہلیت کا تعصب اور اپنے آباواجداد پر فخر کرنا دور کردیا ہے۔ اب یا تو کوئی شخص متقی مسلمان ہوگا یا بدبخت گناہ گار ہوگا سب لوگ آدم علیہ السلام کی اولاد ہیں اور آدم علیہ السلام کی پیدائش مٹی سے ہوئی تھی لوگ آپنے آباؤ اجداد پر فخر کرنے سے باز آجائیں ورنہ اللہ کی نگاہوں میں وہ اس بکری سے بھی زیادہ حقیرہوں گے جس کے جسم سے بدبو آنا شروع ہوگئی ہو اور وہ اسے اٹھانے کے لئے پیسے دینے پر تیار ہوں۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya Allah tabarak wa ta'ala ne tumse jahiliyat ka tasabbur aur apne aba o ajdad par fakhr karna door kar diya hai ab ya to koi shakhs muttaqi musalman hoga ya badbakht gunahgar hoga sab log Adam Alaihissalam ki aulaad hain aur Adam Alaihissalam ki paidaish mitti se hui thi log apne aba o ajdad par fakhr karne se baaz aa jayen warna Allah ki nigahon mein wo us bakri se bhi zyada haqir honge jis ke jism se badbu aana shuru ho gayi ho aur wo use uthane ke liye paise dene par tayyar hon.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ قَدْ أَذْهَبَ عَنْكُمْ عُبِّيَّةَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ وَفَخْرَهَا بِالْآبَاء، مُؤْمِنٌ تَقِيٌّ، وَفَاجِرٌ شَقِيٌّ، وَالنَّاسُ بَنُو آدَمَ، وَآدَمُ مِنْ تُرَابٍ، لَيَنْتَهِيَنَّ أَقْوَامٌ فَخْرَهُمْ بِرِجَالٍ، أَوْ لَيَكُونُنَّ أَهْوَنَ عَلَى اللَّهِ مِنْ عِدَّتِهِمْ مِنَ الْجِعْلَانِ الَّتِي تَدْفَعُ بِأَنْفِهَا النَّتَنَ" .
