Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 8942
Hazrat Abu Huraira (RA) narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "The people of Yemen have come to you. They are gentle-hearted people, and faith, wisdom, and understanding are excellent among the people of Yemen. Disbelief is towards the eastern side, arrogance and pride are among the owners of horses and camels, and tranquility and contentment are among the owners of goats."

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا تمہارے پاس اہل یمن آئے ہیں یہ لوگ نرم دل ہیں اور ایمان حکمت اور فقہ اہل یمن میں بہت عمدہ ہے اور کفر مشرقی جانب ہے غرور تکبر گھوڑوں اور اونٹوں کے مالکوں میں ہوتا ہے اور سکون و اطمینان بکریوں کے مالکوں میں ہوتا ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne farmaya tumhare pass ahle Yemen aye hain ye log narm dil hain aur imaan hikmat aur fiqh ahle Yemen mein bohat umda hai aur kufr mashriqi janib hai gharoor takabbur ghoron aur oonton ke malikon mein hota hai aur sakoon o itminan bakriyon ke malikon mein hota hai.
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ ثَابِتِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " الْإِيمَانُ يَمَانٍ، وَالْفِقْهُ يَمَانٍ، وَالْحِكْمَةُ يَمَانِيَةٌ، أَتَاكُمْ أَهْلُ الْيَمَنِ، فَهُمْ أَرَقُّ أَفْئِدَةً، وَأَلْيَنُ قُلُوبًا، وَالْكُفْرُ قِبَلَ الْمَشْرِقِ، وَالْفَخْرُ وَالْخُيَلَاءُ فِي أَهْلِ الْخَيْلِ وَالْإِبِلِ وَالْفَدَّادِينَ أَهْلِ الْوَبَرِ، وَالسَّكِينَةُ فِي أَهْلِ الْغَنَمِ" .
