Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 8970
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The Imam is a guarantor and the Mu'azzin is a trustee. O Allah, guide the Imams and forgive the Mu'azzins.

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا امام ضامن ہوتا ہے اور مؤذن امانت دار اے اللہ اماموں کی رہنمائی فرما اور موذنین کی مغفرت فرما۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya imam zaman hota hai aur moazzin amanatdaar aye Allah imamon ki rehnumai farma aur moazzinon ki magfirat farma.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ ، قَالَ: حُدِّثْتُ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، وَلَا أُرَانِي إِلَّا قَدْ سَمِعْتُهُ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قال: قال رسولُ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " الْإِمَامُ ضَامِنٌ، وَالْمُؤَذِّنُ مُؤْتَمَنٌ، اللَّهُمَّ أَرْشِدْ الْأَئِمَّةَ، وَاغْفِرْ لِلْمُؤَذِّنِينَ" .
