Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 8993
It was narrated from Abu Huraira that the Prophet said: "Races should only be held with camels or horses."

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا صرف اونٹ یا گھوڑے میں ریس لگائی جاسکتی ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya sirf unt ya ghore mein race lagayi ja sakti hai.
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ أَبِي الْحَكَمِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ: " لَا سَبَقَ إِلَّا فِي خُفٍّ أَوْ حَافِرٍ" .
