Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 9112
It is narrated by Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Allah Almighty says, "Fasting is for Me and I will give its reward. A fasting person experiences happiness and joy on two occasions: when he breaks his fast, he is happy, and when he meets Allah, and Allah grants him his reward, he will be happy." By the One in Whose Hand is the soul of Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), the smell of the mouth of a fasting person is better than the fragrance of musk to Allah.

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتا ہے روزہ خاص میرے لئے ہے اور میں خود اس کا بدلہ دوں گا روزہ دار کو موقعوں پر فرحت اور خوشی حاصل ہوتی ہے چنانچہ جب وہ روزہ افطار کرتا ہے تو خوش ہوتا ہے اور جب اللہ سے ملاقات کرے گا اور اللہ اسے بدلہ عطاء فرمائے گا تب بھی وہ خوش ہوگا اس ذات کی قسم جس کے دست قدرت میں محمد ﷺ کی جان ہے روزہ دار کے منہ کی بھبک اللہ کے نزدیک مشک کی خوشبو سے زیادہ عمدہ ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya Allah Ta'ala farmata hai roza khas mere liye hai aur mein khud iska badla dun ga rozadar ko moqon per farhat aur khushi hasil hoti hai chunache jab wo roza iftar karta hai to khush hota hai aur jab Allah se mulaqat karega aur Allah use badla ata farmayega tab bhi wo khush hoga is zaat ki qasam jis ke dast qudrat mein Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki jaan hai rozadar ke munh ki bhook Allah ke nazdeek mushk ki khushbu se zyada umda hai.
حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَة ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم: يَقُولُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: " الصَّوْمُ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ، يَدَعُ طَعَامَهُ وَشَرَابَهُ وَشَهْوَتَهُ مِنْ أَجْلِي، الصَّوْمُ جُنَّةٌ، وَلِلصَّائِمِ فَرْحَتَانِ: فَرْحَةٌ حِينَ يُفْطِرُ، وَفَرْحَةٌ حِينَ يَلْقَى اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، وَلَخُلُوفُ فِيهِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ" .
