Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 9129
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Dreams are of three types: a good dream which is glad tidings from Allah, a dream which is a suggestion of one's own mind, and a dream which comes from Shaitan in order to cause grief. If any one of you sees a dream that he likes then let him tell it, but if he sees a dream that he dislikes then let him not tell it to anyone, but let him get up and pray.”

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا خواب کی تین قسمیں ہیں اچھے خواب تو اللہ کی طرف سے خوشخبری ہوتے ہیں بعض خواب انسان کا تخیل ہوتے ہیں اور بعض خواب شیطان کی طرف سے انسان کو غمگین کرنے کے لئے ہوتے ہیں جب تم سے کوئی شخص ایسا خواب دیکھے جو اسے اچھا لگے تو اسے بیان کردے بشرطیکہ مرضی ہو اور اگر ایسا خواب دیکھے جو اسے ناپسند ہو تو کسی کے سامنے اسے بیان نہ کرے بلکہ کھڑا ہو کر نماز پڑھنا شروع کردے۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah RA se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem SAW ne farmaya khawab ki 3 qismain hain achhe khawab to Allah ki taraf se khushkhabri hote hain baz khawab insan ka takhayyul hote hain aur baz khawab shaitan ki taraf se insan ko ghamgeen karne ke liye hote hain jab tum se koi shakhs aisa khawab dekhe jo usay acha lage to usay bayaan karde basharte keh marzi ho aur agar aisa khawab dekhe jo usay napasand ho to kisi ke samne usay bayaan na kare balkeh khara ho kar namaz parhna shuru karde.
حَدَّثَنَا هَوْذَةُ بْنُ خَلِيفَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَوْفٌ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " الرُّؤْيَا ثَلَاثَةٌ: فَبُشْرَى مِنَ اللَّهِ، وَحَدِيثُ النَّفْسِ، وَتَخْوِيفٌ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ، فَإِذَا رَأَى أَحَدُكُمْ رُؤْيَا تُعْجِبُهُ فَلْيَقُصَّهَا إِنْ شَاءَ، وَإِذَا رَأَى شَيْئًا يَكْرَهُهُ فَلَا يَقُصَّهُ عَلَى أَحَدٍ، وَلْيَقُمْ فَلْيُصَلِّ" .
