Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 9170
Narrated Abu Huraira (RA): The Prophet (SAW) said, "When Satan hears the Adhan (call for prayer), he runs away breaking wind loudly so that he may not hear the Adhan. When the Adhan is completed, he returns and starts whispering into the hearts of the people and makes these suggestions appear attractive, and continues to do so till the Iqamah (call for prayer to commence) is finished. He again runs away when the Iqamah is pronounced and returns when it is over and then excites the person (to divert his attention from prayer) and says to him, 'Remember this or that (non-beneficial thing)' - things which he does not remember before the prayer, with the result that the person (sometimes) leaves having offered an incomplete prayer and he does not know how many (Rakat) he has offered."

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا جب شیطان اذان کی آواز سنتا ہے تو زور زور سے ہوا خارج کرتے ہوئے بھاگ جاتا ہے تاکہ اذان نہ سن سکے جب اذان ختم ہوجاتی ہے تو پھر واپس آجاتا ہے اور انسان کے دل میں وسوسے ڈالتا ہے اور اقامت کے وقت بھی اسی طرح کرتا ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya jab shaitan azaan ki aawaz sunta hai to zor zor se hawa kharij karte hue bhaag jata hai takay azaan na sun sakay jab azaan khatam hojati hai to phir wapas aata hai aur insan ke dil mein waswase dalta hai aur iqamat ke waqt bhi isi tarah karta hai.
حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِذَا سَمِعَ الشَّيْطَانُ الْمُنَادِيَ يُنَادِي بِالصَّلَاةِ، وَلَّى وَلَهُ ضُرَاطٌ، حَتَّى لَا يَسْمَعَ الصَّوْتَ، فَإِذَا فَرَغَ رَجَعَ فَوَسْوَسَ، فَإِذَا أَخَذَ فِي الْإِقَامَةِ فَعَلَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ" .
