Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 9264

It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that whenever food was brought to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) from somewhere other than his own house, he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would inquire about it. If he was told that it was a gift, he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would partake of it. But if he was told that it was charity, he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would say to the people, "You eat," and he himself would not eat.

Hazrat Abu Hurairah raziallahu anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein jab aap ke ghar ke ilawa kahin aur se khana aata to aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) iske mutalliq daryaft farmate agar bataya jata ki yah hadiya hai to aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ise tanaul farma lete aur agar bataya jata ki yah sadqah hai to logon se farmate ki tum khalo aur khud na khate.
