Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 9332
Narrated Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace be upon him) was once walking on a path in Makkah until he reached a place called Al-Jamdan. Upon reaching there, he said, “This is Al-Jamdan, so proceed.” Then, the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “The *Murafidoon* go ahead.” The Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) asked, “O Messenger of Allah, who are the *Murafidoon*?” He replied, “Those who frequently remember Allah.” Then, the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “O Allah, forgive those who shave their heads completely.” The Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) said, “O Messenger of Allah, pray also for those who shorten their hair (without shaving completely).” The Prophet (peace be upon him) again said, “O Allah, forgive those who shave their heads completely.” For the third time, the Prophet (peace be upon him) included those who shorten their hair in his supplication.

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ ایک مرتبہ مکہ مکرمہ کے کسی راستے میں چل رہے تھے حتیٰ کہ جمدان نامی جگہ پر پہنچ کر فرمایا یہ جمدان ہے روانہ ہوجاؤ اور " مفردون " سبقت لے گئے صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہ نے پوچھا یا رسول اللہ ﷺ مفردون کون لوگ ہوتے ہیں؟ فرمایا جو اللہ کا ذکر کثرت سے کرتے رہتے ہیں۔ پھر نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا اے اللہ حلق کرانے والوں کی بخشش فرما صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہ نے عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ! قصر کرانے والوں کے لئے بھی دعا کیجئے نبی کریم ﷺ نے پھر یہی فرمایا کہ اے اللہ! حلق کرانے والوں کی مغفرت فرما۔ تیسری مرتبہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے قصر کرانے والوں کو بھی اپنی دعا میں شامل فرما لیا۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ek martaba Makkah Mukarramah ke kisi raaste mein chal rahe thay hatta ki Jimdan nami jaga par pahonch kar farmaya yeh Jimdan hai rawana hojao aur "Mufradoon" subqat le gaye Sahaba Kiram (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne pucha Ya Rasulullah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Mufradoon kaun log hote hain? Farmaya jo Allah ka zikr kasrat se karte rehte hain. Phir Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya aye Allah halq karane walon ki bakhshish farma Sahaba Kiram (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne arz kiya Ya Rasulullah! Qasar karane walon ke liye bhi dua kijiye Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne phir yahi farmaya ki aye Allah! Halq karane walon ki magfirat farma. Teesri martaba Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne qasar karane walon ko bhi apni dua mein shamil farma liya.
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَة ، قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَسِيرُ فِي طَرِيقِ مَكَّةَ فَأَتَى عَلَى جُمْدَانَ، فَقَالَ: " هَذَا جُمْدَانُ , سِيرُوا , سَبَقَ الْمُفَرِّدُونَ"، قَالُوا: وَمَا الْمُفَرِّدُونَ؟، قَالَ:" الذَّاكِرُونَ اللَّهَ كَثِيرًا"، ثُمَّ قَالَ:" اللَّهُمَّ اغْفَرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ"، قَالُوا: وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ؟، قَالَ:" اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ" , قَالُوا: وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ؟ , قَالَ:" وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ" .
