Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 9419
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Whoever enters this Masjid of ours and he only enters it in order to learn or teach some good, then he will be like the Mujahid in the cause of Allah. And whoever enters it for some other reason, then he is like one who looks at the belongings of other than him.”

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا جو شخص ہماری اس مسجد میں صرف خیر سیکھنے سکھانے کے لئے داخل ہو، وہ مجاہد فی سبیل اللہ کی طرح ہے اور جو کسی دوسرے مقصد کے لئے آئے، وہ اس شخص کی طرح ہے جو کسی ایسی چیز کو دیکھنے لگے جو دوسرے کا سامان ہو۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya jo shakhs hamari is masjid mein sirf khair seekhne sikhaane ke liye dakhil ho, woh mujahid fi sabeelillah ki tarah hai aur jo kisi dusre maqsad ke liye aaye, woh us shakhs ki tarah hai jo kisi aisi cheez ko dekhne lage jo dusre ka saman ho.
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الْخَرَّاطِ ، عَنِ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَة ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم: " مَنْ جَاءَ مَسْجِدِي هَذَا، لَمْ يَأْتِ إِلَّا لِخَيْرٍ يَتَعَلَّمُهُ فَهُوَ بِمَنْزِلَةِ الْمُجَاهِدِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ، وَمَنْ جَاءَ لِغَيْرِ ذَلِكَ فَهُوَ بِمَنْزِلَةِ رَجُلٍ يَنْظُرُ إِلَى مَتَاعِ غَيْرِهِ" .
