The Musnad of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him)
مسنَد اَبِی هرَیرَةَ رَضِیَ اللَّه عَنه
Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 9449
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "On the Day of Judgment, death will be brought in the form of a ram and placed on the Sirat (bridge). The people of Paradise will be called and they will fear that they might be taken out of Paradise. Then they will be asked, 'Do you recognize this?' They will reply, 'Yes, this is death, O Lord.' Then the people of Hell will be called and asked, 'Do you recognize this?' They will reply, 'Yes, this is death.' Then by the command of Allah, it will be slaughtered on the Sirat and both groups will be asked, 'Will you remain in the state you are in forever and ever?'"

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا قیامت کے دن موت کو ایک مینڈھے کی شکل میں لا کر پل صراط پر کھڑا کردیا جائے گا اور اہل جنت کو پکار کر بلایا جائے گا وہ خوفزدہ ہو کر جھانکیں گے کہ کہیں انہیں جنت سے نکال تو نہیں دیا جائے گا پھر ان سے پوچھا جائے گا کہ کیا تم اسے پہچانتے ہو ؟ وہ کہیں گے کہ جی (پروردگار یہ موت ہے) پھر اہل جہنم کو پکار کر آواز دی جائے گی کہ کیا تم اسے پہچانتے ہو ؟ وہ کہیں گے جی ہاں (یہ موت ہے) چناچہ اللہ کے حکم پر اسے پل صراط پر ذبح کردیا جائے اور دونوں گروہوں سے کہا جائے گا کہ تم جن حالات میں رہ رہے ہو۔ اس میں تم ہمیشہ ہمیش رہو گے ؟
Hazrat Abu Hurairah Radi Allah Tala Anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya qayamat ke din maut ko ek mendhe ki shakal mein la kar pul sirat par khara kar diya jayega aur ehl e jannat ko pukar kar bulaya jayega woh khaufzada ho kar jhankenge ki kahin unhen jannat se nikal to nahin diya jayega phir unse pucha jayega ki kya tum isse pehchante ho woh kahenge ki ji (parvardigaar yeh maut hai) phir ehl e jahannam ko pukar kar awaz di jayegi ki kya tum isse pehchante ho woh kahenge ji haan (yeh maut hai) chunancha Allah ke hukum par ise pul sirat par zibah kar diya jayega aur dono grouhon se kaha jayega ki tum jin haalat mein reh rahe ho is mein tum hamesha hamesha raho ge.
حَدَّثَنَا غَسَّانُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ مُوصِلِيٌّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ بَهْدَلَةَ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يُؤْتَى بِالْمَوْتِ كَبْشًا أَغْثَرَ فَيُوقَفُ بَيْنَ الْجَنَّةِ وَالنَّارِ فَيُقَالُ يَا أَهْلَ الْجَنَّةِ فَيَشْرَئِبُّونَ وَيَنْظُرُونَ وَيُقَالُ لِأَهْلِ النَّارِ فَيَشْرَئِبُّونَ وَيَنْظُرُونَ وَيَرَوْنَ أَنْ قَدْ جَاءَ الْفَرَجُ فَيُذْبَحُ فَيُقَالُ خُلُودٌ لَا مَوْتَ
