Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 9474

It is narrated from Khwaja Hasan Basri that the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: When any one of you hears the call to prayer and there is a utensil in his hand, he should not leave it until he has finished eating from it.

خواجہ حسن بصری سے مرسلاً مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا جب تم میں سے کوئی شخص اذان سنے اور برتن اس کے ہاتھ میں ہو تو جب تک کھانا مکمل نہ کرلے اسے نہ چھوڑے۔

Khawaja Hasan Basri se mursalan marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya jab tum mein se koi shakhs azan sune aur bartan uske hath mein ho to jab tak khana mukammal na karle use na chhore.

حَدَّثَنَا غَسَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَة ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ. وَعَنْ يُونُسَ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِذَا سَمِعَ أَحَدُكُمْ الْأَذَانَ، وَالْإِنَاءُ عَلَى يَدِهِ، فَلَا يَدَعْهُ حَتَّى يَقْضِيَ مِنْهُ" .
