Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 9735
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said in the explanation of "Maqam-e-Mahmood", "This is the place where I will stand and intercede for my Ummah."

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے " مقام محمود " کی تفسیر میں فرمایا یہ وہی مقام ہے جہاں پر کھڑے ہو کر میں اپنی امت کی سفارش کروں گا۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne "Maqaam e Mehmood" ki tafseer mein farmaya yeh wohi maqam hai jahan par kharay ho kar main apni ummat ki sifarish karunga.
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ الزَّعَافِرِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: عَسَى أَنْ يَبْعَثَكَ رَبُّكَ مَقَامًا مَحْمُودًا سورة الإسراء آية 79، قَالَ:" الشَّفَاعَةُ" .
