Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 9979
It is narrated in the previous Hadith that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: When any one of you supplicates, he should not say, "O Allah, forgive me if You will." Rather, he should supplicate with certainty and conviction, for no one can compel Allah.

گزشتہ سند ہی سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا تم میں سے کوئی شخص جب دعاء کرے تو یوں نہ کہا کرے کہ اے اللہ اگر تو چاہے تو مجھے معاف فرما دے بلکہ پختگی اور یقین کے ساتھ دعاء کرے کیونکہ اللہ پر کوئی زبردستی کرنے والا نہیں ہے۔
Guzishta sanad hi se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya tum mein se koi shakhs jab dua kare to yun na kaha kare keh aye Allah agar tu chahe to mujhe maaf farma de balkeh pakki gi aur yaqeen ke sath dua kare kyunki Allah per koi zabardasti karne wala nahi hai
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ , عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " لَا يَقُولَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ: اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي إِنْ شِئْتَ، فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَا مُسْتَكْرِهَ لَه، وَلَكِنْ لِيَعْزِمْ فِي الْمَسْأَلَةِ" .
