Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to pray four rak'ahs of Chasht prayer, as much as he wished and more.

(٤٨٩٩) عائشہ (رض) فرماتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) چاشت کی چار رکعات پڑھا کرتے تھے جتنا چاہتے اور زیادہ کرتے۔
(4899) Aisha (RA) farmati hain keh Rasul Allah (SAW) chasht ki chaar rakat parhta karte thay jitna chahtay aur ziada karte.
Mu'adh's aunt says, "I asked Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her): Did the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) pray Chast prayer?' She said, 'Yes, four rak'ahs and more as Allah willed.'"

(٤٩٠٠) معاذہ عدویہ کہتی ہیں : میں نے عائشہ (رض) سوال کیا : کیا رسول اللہ چاشت کی نماز پڑھتے تھے ؟ فرمایا : ہاں چار رکعات اور زیادہ کرتے جتنی اللہ چاہتا۔
(4900) Moaz bin Abi Ubaid ki walida Moaza Adviya kahti hain : mein ne Ayesha (RaziAllahu Anha) se sawal kiya : kya Rasool Allah chasht ki namaz parhte thay? Farmaya : haan chaar rakat aur ziyada karte jitni Allah chahta.
Naim bin Hamar, from the tribe of Ghifani, narrates that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Allah Almighty says, “O son of Adam! Pray four rakats (units of prayer) for Me at the beginning of the day and I will suffice you for the rest of it.”

(٤٩٠١) نعیم بن ہمارغطفانی نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سینقل فرماتے ہیں کہ اللہ تعالیٰ فرتے ہیں : اے ابن آدم ! تو میرے لیے دن کے شروع میں چار رکعات پڑھ، میں تجھے اس کے آخرتک کفایت کر جاؤں گا۔
4901 naeem bin hamar ghatfani nabi s.a.w. se naqal farmate hain ke allah ta'ala farmate hain ae ibn adam tu mere liye din ke shuru mein chaar rakat parh mein tujhe iske akhir tak kafiyat kar jaunga.
