Yazid bin Asam narrates from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a blind man came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said: “I have no one to bring me to the mosque.” He asked permission to pray at home, so the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gave him permission. When he turned to leave, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) called him back and asked: “Do you hear the call to prayer?” He said: “Yes.” So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Then come to the mosque and pray.”

(٤٩٩١) یزید بن اصم ابوہریرہ (رض) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ ایک نابینا شخص رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس آیا اور کہا : مجھے مسجد لانے والا کوئی نہیں، اس نے گھر میں نماز پڑھنے کی رخصت مانگی تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اس کو اجازت دے دی۔ جب وہ جانے لگا تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اس کو بلوایا اور پوچھا : کیا اذان سنتے ہو ؟ اس نے کہا : ہاں تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : پھر مسجد میں آ کر نماز پڑھو۔
Yazid bin Asam Abu Huraira (RA) se naqal farmate hain ki aik nabina shakhs Rasul Allah (SAW) ke pass aaya aur kaha: mujhe masjid lane wala koi nahi, usne ghar mein namaz padhne ki rukhsat maangi to aap (SAW) ne usko ijazat de di. Jab wo jane laga to aap (SAW) ne usko bulaya aur pucha: kya azan sunte ho? Usne kaha: haan, to aap (SAW) ne farmaya: phir masjid mein aakar namaz padho.
٤٩٩١ - أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ثنا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، ثنا مَرْوَانُ، ح وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْفَضْلِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَلَفْظُهُ هَذَا، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ثنا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ الْفَزَارِيُّ، ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْأَصَمِّ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الْأَصَمِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ،قَالَ جَاءَ أَعْمَى إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ:إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ لِي قَائِدٌ يَقُودُنِي إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ، فَسَأَلَهُ أَنْ يُرَخِّصَ لَهُ فِي بَيْتِهِ فَأَذِنَ لَهُ، فَلَمَّا وَلَّى دَعَاهُ،فَقَالَ لَهُ:" هَلْ تَسْمَعُ النِّدَاءَ بِالصَّلَاةِ؟ "فَقَالَ لَهُ: نَعَمْ قَالَ:" فَأَجِبْ ". رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ قُتَيْبَةَ، وَسُوَيْدٍ، وَإِسْحَاقَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ
