Umm Hani narrates that, in the year of the conquest of Makkah, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) offered eight prayers in her house, wearing a single garment whose both ends were opposite to each other.

(٥٥٠٤) ام ہانی فرماتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فتح کے سال ان کے گھر آٹھ رکعات ایک ہی کپڑے میں ادا کیں جس کے دونوں اطراف مخالف سمت میں تھے۔
um hani farmati hain keh rasool allah ne fatah ke sal un ke ghar aath rakat ek hi kapre mein ada keen jis ke donon ataraf mukhalif simt mein thay.
Bara' ibn 'Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: I went out with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) on eighteen journeys and I never saw him omit two rak'ahs before the noon prayer.

(٥٥٠٥) برائبن عازب (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ساتھ اٹھارہ سفر کیے۔ میں نے نہیں دیکھا کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ظہر سے پہلے دو رکعات کو چھوڑا ہو۔
(5505) Buraiban Aazeb (RA) farmate hain ke maine Nabi (SAW) ke sath atharah safar kiye. Maine nahi dekha ke aap (SAW) ne Zuhr se pehle do rakat ko chhoda ho.
(5506) Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that it is the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that the prayer during travel be two rak'ahs, and in residence, four rak'ahs, just as there is prayer before and after the prayer in residence. Similarly, there is prayer before and after the prayer during travel.

(٥٥٠٦) عبداللہ بن عباس (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی سنت یہ ہے کہ نماز سفر دو رکعتیں ہوں اور حضر میں چار رکعات جیسے حضر کی نماز سے پہلے اور بعد میں نماز ہوتی ہے۔ اسی طرح سفر کی نماز سے پہلے اور بعد میں نماز ہوتی ہے۔
