Chapter on Considering the Evidence of Prayer Times

باب مراعاة أدلة المواقيت

Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 1781

Narrated by Sayyidina Ibn Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "The most beloved of people to Allah are those who observe the sun, the moon, the stars and the shadows for the remembrance of Allah."


Grade: Da'if

(١٧٨١) سیدنا ابن أبی اوفی (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ” اللہ کے نزدیک وہ بندے پسندیدہ ہیں جو سورج ، چاند، ستارے اور سایوں کا اللہ کے ذکر کے لیے خیال رکھتے ہیں۔ “

(1781) Sayyidina Ibn Abi Awfa (RA) se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : " Allah ke nazdeek woh bande pasandida hain jo sooraj , chand , sitaare aur saayon ka Allah ke zikr ke liye khayal rakhte hain ".

١٧٨١ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ حَمْشَاذٍ،قَالَا:ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ الْعَطَّارُ بِمَكَّةَ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ السَّكْسَكِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى،قَالَ:قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" إِنَّ خِيَارَ عِبَادِ اللهِ الَّذِينَ يُرَاعُونَ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ وَالنُّجُومَ وَالْأَهِلَّةِ لِذِكْرِ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ "تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ بِإِسْنَادِهِ هَكَذَا وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ

Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The most beloved of Allah's servants to Allah are those who love Allah and love for the sake of Allah, and those who observe the sun, the moon, the stars and the shade for the remembrance of Allah."


Grade: Da'if

(١٧٨٢) سیدنا ابودرداء (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ انھوں نے کہا : اللہ تعالیٰ کے بندوں میں سے اللہ کے ہاں پسندیدہ بندے وہ ہیں جو اللہ سے محبت کرتے ہیں اور اللہ کے لیے لوگوں سے محبت کرتے ہیں اور وہ لوگ جو سورج، چاند، ستاروں اور سایوں کا اللہ کے ذکر کے لیے خیال رکھتے ہیں۔

(1782) Syedna Abu Darda (RA) se riwayat hai ki unhon ne kaha : Allah ta'ala ke bandon mein se Allah ke han pasandida bande wo hain jo Allah se mohabbat karte hain aur Allah ke liye logon se mohabbat karte hain aur wo log jo sooraj, chand, sitaron aur saayon ka Allah ke zikar ke liye khayal rakhte hain.

١٧٨٢ - وَقَدْ أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، أنبأ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ، أنا مِسْعَرٌ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ السَّكْسَكِيِّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَصْحَابُنَا عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ،أَنَّهُ قَالَ:" إِنَّ أَحَبَّ عِبَادِ اللهِ إِلَى اللهِ الَّذِينَ يُحِبُّونَ اللهَ وَيُحَبِّبُونَ اللهَ إِلَى النَّاسِ وَالَّذِينَ يُرَاعُونَ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ وَالنُّجُومَ وَالْأَهِلَّةَ لِذِكْرِ اللهِ "رُوِيَ مَوْقُوفًا عَلَى أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ فِي مَعْنَاهُ

Narrated by Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him): Beware, the best of the people of Muhammad's (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) Ummah are those who observe the sun, the moon, and the stars for prayer times (1783).


Grade: Da'if

(١٧٨٣) سیدنا ابوہریرہ (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ آگاہ رہو امت محمد (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے بہترین لوگ وہ ہیں جو نماز کے اوقات کے لیے سورج، چاند اور ستاروں کا خیال رکھتے ہیں۔

(1783) sydna abuhuraira (rz) se riwayat hai keh aagah raho umat muhammad ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke behtarin log woh hain jo namaz ke auqat ke liye sooraj, chand aur sitaron ka khayal rakhte hain.

١٧٨٣ - أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، أنا أَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ حَيَّانَ، أنبأ ابْنُ أَبِي عَاصِمٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ أَبُو يُوسُفَ، نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ وَاصِلِ بْنِ أَيُّوبَ الْأُسْوَارِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ،قَالَ:" أَلَا إِنَّ خِيَارَ أُمَّةِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الَّذِينَ يُرَاعُونَ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ وَالنُّجُومَ لِمَوَاقِيتِ الصَّلَاةِ "
