It is narrated on the authority of Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Charity is not permissible for a rich person except for five: a warrior in the cause of Allah, a collector (of Zakat), one who gives loans, a buyer, and a man whose neighbor is poor and he receives charity and then gives it as a gift to his neighbor."

(١٣١٩٨) حضرت ابو سعید خدری (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : کسی غنی کے لیے صدقہ جائز نہیں ہے مگر پانچ کے لیے : مجاہد فی سبیل اللہ ، عامل، چٹی دینے والا، مشتری، ایسا آدمی جس کا پڑوسی مسکین ہو اور اسے صدقہ ملے پھر وہ اپنے پڑوسی کو ہدیہ کر دے۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (RA) se riwayat hai keh Nabi (SAW) ne farmaya: Kisi ghani ke liye sadqah jaiz nahi hai magar panch ke liye: Mujahid fi sabeelillah, aamil, chitti dene wala, mushteri, aisa aadmi jis ka padosi miskeen ho aur usey sadqah miley phir woh apne padosi ko hadiya kar de.
Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Charity is not lawful for a rich person except for one who fights in the cause of Allah, or is a traveler, or your neighbor is needy, so you give him charity and he gives you a gift."

(١٣١٩٩) حضرت ابو سعید خدری (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : کسی غنی کے لیے صدقہ جائز نہیں ہے، علاوہ اس غنی کے جو اللہ کے راستے میں جہاد کرتا ہے یا وہ مسافر ہے یا کوئی تیرا پڑوسی محتاج ہے، اس کو صدقہ دیا جاتا ہے تو وہ تجھے تحفہ دیتا ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (RA) se riwayat hai ke Nabi (SAW) ne farmaya: Kisi ghani ke liye sadqa jaiz nahi hai, alawa us ghani ke jo Allah ke raaste mein jihad karta hai ya woh musafir hai ya koi tera padosi mohtaj hai, us ko sadqa diya jata hai to woh tujhe tohfa deta hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Hadrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Charity is not permissible for a wealthy person except for one who spends in the way of Allah.”

(١٣٢٠٠) حضرت ابو سعید خدری (رض) سے روایت کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : کسی غنی کے لیے صدقہ جائز نہیں ہے، علاوہ اس غنی کے جو اللہ کے راستے میں ہے۔

Amr bin Abu Marra narrated that a letter came to Umar. It was written in it that people take wealth to fight in the way of Allah, then they oppose it and do not wage Jihad. Whoever did this, we are more deserving of this wealth, so much so that we take from them the wealth that they took in the name of Jihad.

(١٣٢٠١) عمرو بن ابو مرہ سے روایت ہے کہ حضرت عمر کے پاس خط آیا، اس میں لکھا تھا کہ لوگ اللہ کے راستے میں لڑنے کے لیے مال لے لیتے ہیں، پھر وہ اس کی مخالفت کرتے ہیں اور جہاد نہیں کرتے۔ جس نے یہ کام کیا ہم زیادہ حق دار ہیں اس مال کے یہاں تک ہم ان سے وہ مال لے لیں جو انھوں نے جہاد کے نام پر لیا۔
Amr bin Abu Murrah se riwayat hai ki Hazrat Umar ke paas khat aaya, is mein likha tha ki log Allah ke raste mein ladne ke liye maal le lete hain, phir wo us ki mukhalfat karte hain aur jihad nahin karte. Jis ne ye kaam kiya hum zyada haqdaar hain is maal ke yahan tak hum un se wo maal le len jo unhon ne jihad ke naam par liya.
