Chapter: Preference for Patterned Garments Dyed Before Weaving
باب ما يستحب من ثياب الحبرة وما يصبغ غزله لا يصبغ بعدما ينسج
Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 5970
Qatadah said: I asked Anas (may Allah be pleased with him): What type of garment was most beloved and liked by the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)? He said: The striped garment.

(٥٩٧٠) قتادہ فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے حضرت انس (رض) سے سوال کیا : کونسا لباس نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو زیادہ محبوب اور پسند تھا ؟ فرمایا : دھاری دار کپڑا۔
(5970) Qatadah farmate hain ke maine Hazrat Anas (RA) se sawal kiya : konsa libas Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ko zyada mahboob aur pasand tha ? Farmaya : dhari daar kapra.
Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw me wearing two yellow garments, so he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "O Abdullah bin Amr! These are the garments of the disbelievers, so do not wear them."

(٥٩٧١) عبداللہ بن عمرو (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے میرے اوپر دو زرد رنگ کے کپڑے دیکھیتو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اے عبداللہ بن عمرو ! یہ کفار کے کپڑے ہیں تو ان کو نہ پہن۔
(5971) Abdullah bin Amro (RA) farmate hain ke Rasul Allah (SAW) ne mere upar do zard rang ke kapre dekhe to aap (SAW) ne farmaya: Aye Abdullah bin Amro! Ye kuffar ke kapre hain to in ko na pehn.
Amr bin Shu'aib, on his father's authority and he on his grandfather's authority, reported that: We were with the Prophet (ﷺ) in the valley of Hunain. Then he (the narrator) narrated the hadith of his prayer, saying: He (the Holy Prophet) saw me while I was wearing a sheet of striped cloth. He (the Holy Prophet) said: What kind of sheet is this (that) you are wearing? I noticed the sign of displeasure on his (the Holy Prophet's) face. I came to my house while (my family) was burning the oven. I threw that sheet into the oven. Then I came to him (the Holy Prophet) in the morning. He (the Holy Prophet) said: O Abdullah, what did you do to that sheet? When I informed him, he said: You should have given it to your family to wear, there was no harm in that.

(٥٩٧٢) عمرو بن شعیب اپنے والد سے اور وہ اپنے دادا سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ ہم نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ساتھ شنیہ وادی میں اترے۔ پھر انھوں نے اپنی نماز والی حدیث ذکر کی کہ آپ نے میری طرف دیکھا، میرے اوپر زردرنگ کی چارد تھی۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے پوچھا : یہ کیسی چادر اوڑھ رکھی ہے ؟ میں آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی ناراضگی کو جان گیا۔ میں اپنے گھر آیا وہ تنور کو جلا رہے تھے۔ میں نے وہ چادر تنور میں ڈال دی۔ پھر میں صبح آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس آیا۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اے عبداللہ ! تو نے چادر کا کیا کیا ؟ میں نے آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو خبر دی تو آپ نے فرمایا : اپنے گھر والوں کو پہنا دیتے اس میں کوئی حرج نہ تھا۔
(5972) Amr bin Shuaib apne walid se aur wo apne dada se naql farmate hain ke hum Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke sath Shania wadi mein utre. Phir unhon ne apni namaz wali hadees zikar ki ke aap ne meri taraf dekha, mere upar zard rang ki chadar thi. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne poocha: Ye कैसी chadar odh rakhi hai? Mein aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ki narazgi ko jan gaya. Mein apne ghar aaya wo tanoor ko jala rahe the. Mein ne wo chadar tanoor mein daal di. Phir mein subah aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke paas aaya. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Aye Abdullah! Tu ne chadar ka kya kiya? Mein ne aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ko khabar di to aap ne farmaya: Apne ghar walon ko pehna dete us mein koi harj na tha.
