Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 18689
Abu Shuraiha Al-Adawi reported: I heard with my ears and saw with my eyes that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should honor his neighbor. Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should honor his guest.” It was said, “What is the right of the guest?” The Prophet said, “A day and a night, and hospitality is for three days. Anything more than that is charity. Do not let a guest stay so long that he burdens you.” And he said, “Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should speak good or remain silent.”

(١٨٦٨٩) ابو شریح عدوی فرماتے ہیں کہ میرے کانوں نے سنا اور میری آنکھوں نے دیکھا کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : جو اللہ اور آخرت کے دن پر ایمان رکھتا ہو وہ اپنے ہمسائے کی عزت کرے اور جس کا اللہ اور آخرت کے دن پر ایمان ہو وہ اپنے مہمان کی ضیافت کے ذریعے تعظیم کرے۔ کہا گیا : اس کی ضیافت کیا ہے ؟ فرمایا : ایک دن و رات اور ضیافت تین دن تک ہے۔ اس سے زیادہ صدقہ ہے، اس سے زیادہ مہمان بھی نہ ٹھہرے کہ اسے تکلیف ہو اور جو اللہ اور آخرت پر ایمان رکھتا ہو وہ اچھے کلمات کہے یا خاموش ہوجائے۔
18689 Abu Shrih Advi farmate hain ke mere kano ne suna aur meri aankhon ne dekha ke Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Jo Allah aur aakhirat ke din par imaan rakhta ho wo apne hamsaye ki izzat kare aur jis ka Allah aur aakhirat ke din par imaan ho wo apne mehmaan ki ziyafat ke zariye tazeem kare. Kaha gaya: Iski ziyafat kya hai? Farmaya: Ek din o raat aur ziyafat teen din tak hai. Iss se ziada sadqa hai, iss se ziada mehmaan bhi na thahre ke use takleef ho aur jo Allah aur aakhirat par imaan rakhta ho wo achhe kalmat kahe ya khamosh hojae.
Malik was asked about the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that a day and a night is a feast. He said: A day and a night of honoring, giving gifts, and protection, and the feast is for three days.

(١٨٦٩٠) امام مالک سے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے قول کے بارے میں پوچھا گیا کہ ایک دن و رات ضیافت ہے تو فرمایا : ایک دن و رات عزت، تحفہ اور حفاظت کرے اور ضیافت تین دن تک ہے۔
18690 Imam Malik se Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke qaul ke bare mein poocha gaya ke ek din o raat ziyafat hai to farmaya : ek din o raat izzat, tohfa aur hifazat kare aur ziyafat teen din tak hai.
Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The right of hospitality is three days, and whatever is beyond that is charity."

(١٨٦٩١) حضرت ابو سعید (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ضیافت کا حق تین دن تک ہے اور جو اس سے زائد ہو وہ صدقہ ہے۔
(18691) Hazrat Abu Saeed (Razi Allah Anhu) farmate hain ke Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : Ziyafat ka haq teen din tak hai aur jo is se zaid ho woh sadaqah hai.
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "A feast is for three days, and whatever is beyond that is charity."

(١٨٦٩٢) حضرت ابوہریرہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ضیافت تین دن تک ہے اور جو اس سے زائد ہو وہ صدقہ ہے۔
(18692) Hazrat Abu Huraira (RA) farmate hain keh Nabi (SAW) ne farmaya : Ziyafat teen din tak hai aur jo is se ziyad ho woh sadqah hai.
