Chapter: A child becoming Muslim through the conversion of one of his parents
باب: الولد يسلم بإسلام أحد أبويه
Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 21290
'Umarah bin Murrah said: I asked Sa'eed bin Jubair about the Ayah: { وَالَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَاتَّبَعَتْہُمْ ذُرِّیَّتُہُمْ بِاِیْمَانٍ } (And those who believe and whose offspring follow them in Faith.) He said; Ibn 'Abbas (RAA) said: 'Allah will admit the children of a believer into Paradise with him to comfort him, even if they are inferior to him in deeds.'

(٢١٢٩٠) عمرہ بن مرہ کہتے ہیں : میں نے سعید بن جبیر سے اس آیت کے بارے میں پوچھا { وَالَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَاتَّبَعَتْہُمْ ذُرِّیَّتُہُمْ بِاِیْمَانٍ } [الطور ٢١]” اور وہ لوگ جو ایمان لائے اور ان کی اولاد نے ان کی اتباع کی۔ “
ابن عباس (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ مومن کی اولاد کو اللہ ان کے ساتھ ملا دے گا تاکہ ان کی آنکھیں ٹھنڈی ہوجائیں، اگرچہ وہ عمل میں اس سے کم ہی کیوں نہ ہوں۔
21290 Umra bin Marra kahte hain : maine Saeed bin Jubair se is aayat ke bare mein poocha { WAL LAZEENA AAMANOO WA ITTABAA' AT HUM ZURRIYYATUHUM BI EMAANIN } [Al-Tur 21] ” Aur wo log jo eman laye aur un ki aulad ne un ki ittiba ki “
Ibn Abbas (RA) farmate hain ke momin ki aulad ko Allah un ke sath mila de ga taake un ki aankhen thandi hojain, agarche wo amal mein is se kam hi kyon na hon.
(21291) It has been narrated on the authority of Sa'id bin Jubair that Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said about the Divine Statement: {We will join their descendants with them, and We will not deprive them of any of their deeds} [At-Tur 52:21] “We will unite with them their descendants in the ranks of Paradise, even though they might be inferior to them in deeds.” {And those who believe and whose descendants follow them in faith - We will join their descendants with them. And We will not deprive them of any of their deeds} [At-Tur 52:21] “And those who believe, and their offspring follow them in faith, We will unite them with their offspring (in Paradise). And We shall not decrease the reward of their deeds in the least.”
Imam Shafi'i (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "Islam is superior to and better than all other religions, and its rulings will be adhered to."

(٢١٢٩١) سعید بن جبیر ابن عباس (رض) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ ارشادِ باری { اَلْحَقْنَا بِہِمْ ذُرِّیَّتَہُمْ وَمَا اَلَتْنٰہُمْ مِّنْ عَمَلِہِمْ مِّنْ شَیْئٍ } [الطور ٢١] ” ہم ان کے ساتھ ان کی اولاد کو ملادیں گے اور ان کے اعمال میں کچھ کمی نہیں کریں گے۔ “
کے متعلق فرماتے ہیں اللہ مومن کی اولاد کو جنت کے درجات میں ان کے ساتھ ملا دے گا۔ اگرچہ عمل کے اعتبار وہ کم ہی کیوں نہ ہو۔ { وَالَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَاتَّبَعَتْہُمْ ذُرِّیَّتُہُمْ بِاِیْمَانٍ اَلْحَقْنَا بِہِمْ ذُرِّیَّتَہُمْ وَمَا اَلَتْنٰہُمْ } [الطور ٢١] ” اور وہ لوگ جو ایمان لائے ان کی اولاد نے ان کی ایمان میں پیروی کی۔ ہم ان کی اولاد کو ان کے ساتھ ملا دیں گے اور ہم کمی نہ کریں گے۔ “
امام شافعی (رح) فرماتے ہیں : اسلام تمام ادیان سے اعلیٰ و افضل ہے، اس کا حکم بھی مانا جائے گا۔
(21291) Saeed bin Jubair Ibn Abbas (RA) se naql farmate hain ki irshad e bari {Alhaqna bihim zurriyyat hum wa ma alatnahum min amalihim min shai’in} [Al-Tur 21] ”Hum un ke sath un ki aulad ko mila denge aur un ke amal mein kuch kami nahin karenge“ ke mutaliq farmate hain Allah momin ki aulad ko jannat ke darjaat mein un ke sath mila dega agarchi amal ke aitbar wo kam hi kyon na ho. {Wallazina amano wa tattabahum zurriyyatuhum biimanin alhaqna bihim zurriyyatuhum wa ma alatnahum} [Al-Tur 21] ”Aur wo log jo iman laye un ki aulad ne un ki iman mein pairavi ki hum un ki aulad ko un ke sath mila denge aur hum kami na karenge“
Imam Shafi (RA) farmate hain: Islam tamam adyan se aala wa afzal hai is ka hukum bhi mana jayega.
Shabi narrates from Qazi Shuraih (may Allah have mercy on him) that a case was brought before him concerning a child whose parents were Christian. He ruled that the Muslim father has more right over the child.

(٢١٢٩٣) شعبی قاضی شریح سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ ایک بچہ جس کے والدین عیسائی تھے، اس کا مقدمہ آیا فرماتے ہیں کہ مسلم والد بچے کا زیادہ حقدار ہے۔
21293 shubay qazi shrih se naql farmate hain ke ek bachcha jis ke waldain eesai the us ka muqaddama aaya farmate hain ke muslim walid bachche ka ziada haqdar hai
