Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 1383
(1383) It is narrated on the authority of Ibn Shihab that the person who performs Masah (wiping) should place his hand over the sock and one hand under the sock, then perform Masah. (b) Imam Malik (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "What I have heard concerning the Masah of the socks seems more correct to me."

(١٣٨٣) ابن شھاب سے روایت ہے کہ جو شخص مسح کرے وہ اپنا ہاتھ موزے کے اوپر رکھے اور ایک ہاتھ موزے کے نیچے، پھر مسح کرے۔ (ب) امام مالک (رح) فرماتے ہیں کہ موزوں کے مسح کے متعلق جو میں نے سنا ہے وہ مجھے زیادہ درست لگتا ہے۔
(1383) Ibne Shahab se riwayat hai ki jo shakhs masah kare woh apna hath mozay ke upar rakhe aur ek hath mozay ke neeche, phir masah kare. (b) Imam Malik (rah) farmate hain ki mozon ke masah ke mutalliq jo main ne suna hai woh mujhe ziada durust lagta hai.
١٣٨٣ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيُّ،وَأَبُو نَصْرِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ قَالَا:أنا أَبُو عَمْرِو بْنُ بُجَيْدٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ثنا ابْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، ثنا مَالِكٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ،أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ:" يَضَعُ الَّذِي يَمْسَحُ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ يَدًا مِنْ فَوْقِ الْخُفِّ وَيَدًا مِنْ تَحْتِ الْخُفِّ، ثُمَّ يَمْسَحُ "قَالَ مَالِكٌ: وَذَلِكَ أَحَبُّ مَا سَمِعْتُ إِلِيَّ فِي مَسْحِ الْخُفَّيْنِ
