Chapter on one who said: The one who holds the contract of marriage is the husband based on the waiver of the dowry

باب من قال الذي بيده عقدة النكاح الزوج من باب عفو المهر

Saeed bin Musayyab said: "The one who has the knot of marriage in his hand, he is the husband."

(١٤٤٥٠) سعید بن مسیب فرماتے ہیں کہ جس کے ہاتھ میں نکاح کی گرہ ہے وہ خاوند ہے۔

(14450) Saeed bin Musayyab farmate hain ki jis ke hath mein nikah ki girah hai woh khaavand hai.

١٤٤٥٠ - وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ،وَعُبَيْدٌ قَالَا:ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ، ثنا يَحْيَى، أنبأ عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ، أنبأ سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ،أَنَّهُ قَالَ:" الَّذِي بِيَدِهِ عُقْدَةُ النِّكَاحِ هُوَ الزَّوْجُ "
