Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 16718
Khalid bin Washam said: When the Battle of Jamal ended and Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) settled in her house, I went to her and said: "Peace be upon you, O Mother of the Believers!" She asked: "Who is it?" I said: "Khalid bin Washam." She asked: "What happened to Talha?" I said: "He was martyred." She said: "Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return. May Allah have mercy on him." She asked: "What happened to Zubair?" I said: "He was also martyred." She again said: "Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return. May Allah have mercy on him." I said: "Zayd bin Sohan was also martyred." She said: "Really!" and then recited "Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return," and prayed for mercy. I said: "Rather, we should all recite 'Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return,' for we have killed each other. Did Zayd, Talha, and Zubair not also...? Will Allah admit them all to Paradise, will He gather them?" She said: "Don't you know that Allah's mercy is vast and He is capable of everything?" So I said: "This is something extra (meaning her question was unnecessary)."

(١٦٧١٨) خالد بن واشمہ کہتے ہیں : جب جنگِ جمل ختم ہوگئی اور حضرت عائشہ (رض) اپنی منزل میں اتر گئیں ۔ میں ان کے پاس گیا اور کہا : السلام علیکِ اے ام المؤمنین ! پوچھا : کون ہے ؟ میں نے کہا : خالد بن واشمہ۔ پوچھا : طلحہ کیا کیا بنا ؟ میں نے کہا : شہید ہوگئے۔ کہا : إِنَّا لِلَّہِ وَإِنَّا إِلَیْہِ رَاجِعُونَ ۔ اللہ اس پر رحم فرمائے۔ پوچھا زبیر کا کیا ہوا ؟ میں نے کہا : وہ بھی شہید ہوگئے تو پھر انا للہ پڑھا اور فرمایا : اللہ اس پر رحم فرمائے۔ میں نے کہا : زید بن صوحان بھی شہید ہوگئے تو فرمایا : واقعی ! اور پھر انا للہ پڑھا اور رحم کی دعا کی۔ میں نے کہا بلکہ ہم سب پر انا للہ پڑھنی چاہیے کہ ہم نے ایک دوسرے کو مارا ہے۔ کیا زید، طلحہ، زبیر نے بھی تو کیا اللہ ان سب کو جنت میں داخل کرے گا، جمع کرے گا ؟ تو فرمانے لگی : کیا تجھے نہیں پتہ کہ اللہ کی رحمت بڑی وسیع ہے اور وہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے ؟ تو کہا : یہ ایک زائد چیز ہے۔
(16718) Khalid bin Washam kahte hain : Jab jang Jamal khatam hogayi aur Hazrat Aisha (Raz) apni manzil mein utar gayi . Mein unke pas gaya aur kaha : Assalam Alaikum ae Um ul Momineen ! Pucha : Kaun hai ? Mein ne kaha : Khalid bin Washam. Pucha : Talha kya kya bana ? Mein ne kaha : Shaheed hogaye. Kaha : Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Rajioon . Allah us par reham farmaye. Pucha Zubair ka kya hua ? Mein ne kaha : Woh bhi shaheed hogaye to phir Inna Lillah parha aur farmaya : Allah us par reham farmaye. Mein ne kaha : Zaid bin Sauhan bhi shaheed hogaye to farmaya : Waqai ! Aur phir Inna Lillah parha aur reham ki dua ki. Mein ne kaha balkay hum sab par Inna Lillah parhni chahiye ke humne aik dusre ko mara hai. Kya Zaid, Talha, Zubair ne bhi to kiya Allah un sab ko Jannat mein dakhil karega, jama karega ? To farmane lagi : Kya tujhe nahi pata ke Allah ki rehmat badi wasee hai aur woh har cheez par qadir hai ? To kaha : Yeh aik zaid cheez hai.
١٦٧١٨ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ الْأَعْرَابِيُّ، ثَنَا سَعْدَانُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، ثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ الْأَزْرَقُ، ثَنَا عَوْفٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ،قَالَ:قَالَ خَالِدُ بْنُ الْوَاشِمَةِ: لَمَّا فَرَغَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ الْجَمَلِ وَنَزَلَتْ عَائِشَةُ مَنْزِلَهَا،دَخَلْتُ عَلَيْهَا فَقُلْتُ:السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكِ يَا أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ،قَالَتْ:مَنْ هَذَا؟قُلْتُ:خَالِدُ بْنُ الْوَاشِمَةِ،قَالَتْ:مَا فَعَلَ طَلْحَةُ؟قُلْتُ:أُصِيبَ،قَالَتْ:إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ، يَرْحَمُهُ اللهُ،قَالَتْ:فَمَا فَعَلَ الزُّبَيْرُ؟قُلْتُ:أُصِيبَ،قَالَتْ:إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ، يَرْحَمُهُ اللهُ،قُلْتُ:بَلْ نَحْنُ لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ فِي زَيْدِ بْنِ صُوحَانَ،قَالَتْ:وَأُصِيبَ زَيْدٌ؟قُلْتُ:نَعَمْ،قَالَتْ:إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ، يَرْحَمُهُ اللهُ،فَقُلْتُ:يَا أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ذَكَرْتُ طَلْحَةَ فَقُلْتِ: يَرْحَمُهُ اللهُ،⦗٣٠٢⦘ وَذَكَرْتُ الزُّبَيْرَ فَقُلْتِ:يَرْحَمُهُ اللهُ،وَذَكَرْتُ زَيْدًا فَقُلْتِ:يَرْحَمُهُ اللهُ، وَقَدْ قَتَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ بَعْضًا، وَاللهِ لَا يَجْمَعُهُمُ اللهُ فِي جَنَّةٍ أَبَدًا،قَالَتْ:أَوَ لَا تَدْرِي أَنَّ رَحْمَةَ اللهِ وَاسِعَةٌ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِْيرٌ،قَالَ:فَكَانَتْ أَفْضَلَ مِنِّي،١٦٧١٩ - وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ، ثَنَا سَعدَانُ، ثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ، ثَنَا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ الْوَاشِمَةِ، بِنَحْوِهِ، وَرَوَاهُ أَيْضًا أَيُّوبُ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ
