Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 16720
Abu Wa'il reported: 'Amr ibn Sharahbil, who was among the close companions of Ibn 'Umar, saw a dream that he entered Paradise and saw huge domes there. He enquired: "Whose are these?" It was replied: "These are for the people of Dhu al-Kila' and Dhu al-Hushab." These two were those who were killed along with Mu'awiyah. I said: "What about 'Ammar and his companions?" It was said: "They are ahead of you." I said: "Glory be to Allah! They killed one another. (Are they together now)?" It was replied: "They found Allah's forgiveness very vast." I said: "What happened to the people of Nahrawan?" It was said: "They met with afflictions." Yahya ibn Abi Talib said: I heard from Yazid in an assembly; he was in Baghdad and seventy thousand people were present in the assembly. He said: "This tradition should not mislead you. Dhu al-Kila' and Dhu al-Hushab had, in fact, set twelve thousand members of the household of the Prophet (ﷺ) free." He then narrated some other good qualities of theirs.

(١٦٧٢٠) ابو وائل کہتے ہیں کہ عمرو بن شرحبیل جو ابن عمر کے قریبی اصحاب میں سے تھے نے خواب دیکھا کہ میں جنت میں داخل ہوا تو وہاں بڑے بڑے گنبد دیکھے میں نے پوچھا : یہ کن کے لیے تو جواب ملا : یہ ذال کلاع اور ذالحوشب کے لوگوں کے لیے ہیں۔ یہ دونوں وہ تھے جو معاویہ کے ساتھ مقتول ہوئے تھے۔ میں نے کہا : عمار اور اس کے ساتھوں کا کیا بنا ؟ کہا : وہ آپ کے آگے ہیں میں نے کہا : سبحان اللہ ! انھوں نے تو آپس میں ایک دوسرے کو قتل کیا ہے۔ پھر اکٹھے ؟ تو جواب ملا : انھوں نے اللہ کی مغفرت کو بڑا وسیع پایا۔ میں نے کہا : اہل النہر کے ساتھ کیا ہوا ؟ کہا : وہ تکلیف کو پہنچے۔ یحییٰ بن ابی طالب کہتے ہیں : میں نے یزید سے ایک مجلس میں سنا، وہ بغداد میں تھے اور مجلس میں ستر ہزار لوگ تھے کہنے لگے : یہ حدیث تمہیں دھوکے میں نہ ڈالے، بیشک ذالکلاع اور ذالحوشب نے ١٢٠٠٠ اہل بیت کو آزاد کیا تھا اور بھی ان کے محاسن بیانکیے۔

١٦٧٢٠ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، وَأَبُو صَادِقِ بْنُ أَبِي الْفَوَارِسِ،قَالُوا:ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، أَنْبَأَ يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَنْبَأَ الْعَوَّامُ بْنُ حَوْشَبٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ،قَالَ:رَأَى عَمْرُو بْنُ شُرَحْبِيلَ، وَكَانَ مِنْ أَفَاضِلِ أَصْحَابِ عَبْدِ اللهِ،قَالَ:رَأَيْتُ كَأَنِّي دَخَلْتُ الْجَنَّةَ، فَإِذَا أَنَا بِقِبَابٍ مَضْرُوبَةٍ،فَقُلْتُ:لِمَنْ هَذَا؟فَقَالَ:لِذِي كَلَاعٍ وَحَوْشَبٍ، وَكَانَا مِمَّنْ قُتِلَ مَعَ مُعَاوِيَةَ،قَالَ:قُلْتُ: مَا فَعَلَ عَمَّارٌ وَأَصْحَابُهُ؟قَالُوا:أَمَامَكَ،قَالَ:قُلْتُ: سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَقَدْ قَتَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ بَعْضًا،فَقَالَ:إِنَّهُمْ لَقُوا اللهَ فَوَجَدُوهُ وَاسِعَ الْمَغْفِرَةِ،قَالَ:قُلْتُ: مَا فَعَلَ أَهْلُ النَّهْرِ؟،قَالَ:لَقُوا بَرَحًا،فَقَالَ يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ:فَسَمِعْتُ يَزِيدَ فِي الْمَجْلِسِ بِبَغْدَادَ،وَكَانَ يُقَالُ:إِنَّ فِي الْمَجْلِسِ سَبْعِينَ أَلْفًا،قَالَ:لَا تَغْتَرُّوا بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ، فَإِنَّ ذَا الْكَلَاعِ وَحَوْشَبًا أَعْتَقَا اثْنَيْ عَشَرَ أَلْفَ أَهْلِ بَيْتٍ، وَذَكَرَ مِنْ مَحَاسِنِهِمْ أَشْيَاءً
