Chapter: What is mentioned about one who has intercourse with the slave girl of his wife
باب ما جاء فيمن أتى جارية امرأته

Ash'as said that news reached us that this was before the revelation regarding the legal punishments (Hudood). Shaykh (Albanee) said that this is how it has been narrated to us from Ibn Mas'ood, and it has also been narrated that he (the fornicator) was told to seek forgiveness and not to do it again.

(١٧٠٧٧) اشعث کہتے ہیں کہ ہمیں یہ بات پہنچی ہے کہ یہ حدود کے نزول سے پہلے تھا۔ شیخ فرماتے ہیں کہ ہمیں ابن مسعود سے بھی اسی طرح روایت کیا گیا ہے اور یہ بھی روایت کیا گیا ہے کہ اسے فرمایا تھا کہ استغفار کر اور دوبارہ ایسا نہ کرنا۔
(17077) Ashas kehte hain ki hamen yeh baat pahunchi hai ki yeh hudood ke nazool se pehle tha. Shaikh farmate hain ki hamen Ibn Masood se bhi isi tarah riwayat kiya gaya hai aur yeh bhi riwayat kiya gaya hai ki use farmaya tha ki istighfar kar aur dobara aisa na karna.
١٧٠٧٧ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، أنبأ أَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ حَيَّانَ، ثنا ابْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ بَحْرٍ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَبِيبِ بْنِ عَرَبِيٍّ، ثنا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، ثنا أَشْعَثُ،قَالَ:" بَلَغَنِي أَنَّ هَذَا، كَانَ قَبْلَ الْحُدُودِ "قَالَ الشَّيْخُ: وَرُوِّينَا عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ مِنْ قَوْلِهِ مِثْلَ حَدِيثِ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْمُحَبِّقِ وَرُوِّينَا عَنْهُ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: اسْتَغْفِرِ اللهَ وَلَا تَعُدْ
