Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 18924
Abu Waqid al-Laythi reported that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to Medina, the people used to cut off the humps of camels and the rumps of sheep (while they were alive). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Any meat that is cut off a living animal is carrion.”

(١٨٩٢٤) ابو واقد لیثی فرماتے ہیں کہ جب نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) مدینہ آئے۔ لوگ اونٹوں کی کوہان اور بکریوں کی رانیں کاٹ لیتے تھے۔ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : جو گوشت زندہ جانور سے کاٹا گیا وہ مردار کے حکم میں ہے۔
(18924) Abu Waqid Laythi farmate hain keh jab Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) Madina aaye. Log oonton ki kohan aur bakriyon ki ranein kaat lete the. Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Jo gosht zinda janwar se kata gaya woh murdar ke hukm mein hai.
١٨٩٢٤ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ،وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَاضِي قَالَا:ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، أنبأ هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ،عَنْ أَبِي وَاقِدٍ اللَّيْثِيِّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ:لَمَّا قَدِمَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمَدِينَةَ وَالنَّاسُ يَجُبُّونَ أَسْنِمَةَ الْإِبِلِ وَيَقْطَعُونَ أَلْيَاتِ الْغَنَمِ،فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" مَا قُطِعَ مِنَ الْبَهِيمَةِ وَهِيَ حَيَّةٌ فَهُوَ مَيْتَةٌ "
