Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 19916
Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever takes an oath for a good deed and says 'If Allah wills,' then he will be released from his oath, whether he fulfills it or leaves it."

(١٩٩١٦) ابن عمر (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : جس نے بھلائی پر قسم اٹھائی اور اس نے ان شاء اللہ کہہ دیا تو وہ بااختیا رہے، اگر چاہے تو قسم کو پورا کرلے یا چھوڑ دے۔
(19916) Ibne Umar (RA) farmate hain ke Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : Jis ne bhalayi par qasam uthai aur us ne In Sha Allah keh diya to wo baakhtiyar rahe, agar chahe to qasam ko poora karle ya chhor de.
١٩٩١٦ - وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْقَطَّانُ بِبَغْدَادَ، أنبأ أَبُو سَهْلِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ الْقَطَّانُ، ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْحَرْبِيُّ، ثنا عَفَّانُ، ثنا وُهَيْبُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، وَعَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، وَحَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ،عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:" مَنْ حَلَفَ عَلَى يَمِينٍ،فَقَالَ:إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ، فَهُوَ بِالْخِيَارِ إِنْ شَاءَ فَلْيَمْضِ، وَإِنْ شَاءَ فَلْيَتْرُكْ "
