Ibn Sirin said that Judge Shuraih used to accept the testimony of a single witness when he recognized that the claim was being made for a small thing.

(٢٠٦٨٦) ابن سیرین فرماتی ہیں کہ قاضی شریح اکیلے کی شہادت کو جائز قرار دیتے تھے، جب وہ پہچان لیتے کہ تھوڑی چیز کے بارے میں مطالبہ کیا جا رہا ہے۔

٢٠٦٨٦ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو حَازِمٍ الْحَافِظُ، أنبأ أَبُو الْفَضْلِ بْنُ خِمَيْرَوَيْهِ، أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ نَجْدَةَ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، ثنا هُشَيْمٌ، أنبأ يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ،قَالَ:كَانَ شُرَيْحٌ يُجِيزُ شَهَادَةَ الشَّاهِدِ الْوَاحِدِ إِذَا عَرَفَهُ مَعَ يَمِينِ الطَّالِبِ فِي الشَّيْءِ الْيَسِيرِ "
