Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 232
Sayyiduna 'Abd Khayr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Sayyiduna 'Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) came to us and he had already prayed. Then he (may Allah be pleased with him) asked for water… Thereupon, he rinsed his mouth and cleared his nose three times. He rinsed his mouth and cleared his nose with the same handful of water with which he had taken the water. Then he (may Allah be pleased with him) mentioned a lengthy narration. At the end of it is: “Whoever likes to know the manner of ablution of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), then this is it.”

(٢٣٢) سیدنا عبد خیر (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ ہمارے پاس سیدنا علی (رض) آئے اور وہ نماز پڑھ چکے تھے، پھر آپ (رض) نے پانی منگوایا۔۔۔ اس میں ہے کہ پھر آپ نے کلی کی اور تین مرتبہ ناک چھاڑا۔ کلی اور ناک اسی ہتھیلی سے جھاڑا جس سے پانی لیا تھا۔ پھر طویل حدیث ذکر کی۔ اس کے آخر میں ہے : جس شخص کو اچھا لگے کہ وہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے وضو کا طریقہ جانے تو یہ وہی (طریقہ) ہے۔
Sayyidna Abd Khair (RA) farmate hain ki hamare pass Sayyidna Ali (RA) aaye aur woh namaz parh chuke thay, phir aap (RA) ne pani mangwaya... Is mein hai ki phir aap ne ghutti ki aur teen martaba naak chhara. Ghutti aur naak isi hatheli se jhara jis se pani liya tha. Phir taweel hadees zikr ki. Is ke aakhir mein hai : Jis shakhs ko achha lage ki woh Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke wuzu ka tariqa jane to yeh wohi (tariqa) hai.
٢٣٢ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ، أنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ دَاسَةَ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثنا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ خَيْرٍ،قَالَ:أَتَانَا عَلِيٌّ وَقَدْ صَلَّى، فَدَعَا بِطَهُورٍ، وَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ،قَالَ:ثُمَّ تَمَضْمَضَ وَاسْتَنْثَرَ ثَلَاثًا، فَمَضْمَضَ وَنَثَرَ مِنَ الْكَفِّ الَّذِي أَخَذَ فِيهِ، وَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ،وَقَالَ فِي آخِرِهِ:" مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَعْلَمَ وُضُوءَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَهُوَ هَذَا "
