Chapter on One Who Counts Verses or Knots Them in His Prayer Without Uttering What Would Be Speech

باب من عد الآي في صلاته أو عقدها ولم يتلفظ بما يكون كلاما

Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 3371

(3371) Hisham bin 'Urwah reported from his father that he (his father) used to count the verses of the Quran during prayer.


Grade: Da'if

(٣٣٧١) ہشام بن عروہ اپنے والد سے نقل کرتے ہیں کہ وہ نماز میں آیات قرآنیہ کو شمار کرتے تھے۔

3371 Hisham bin Urwah apne walid se naql karte hain ke woh namaz mein ayat quraniyah ko shumar karte thay.

٣٣٧١ -وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ قَالَ:حَدَّثَنِي الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَعُدُّ الْآيَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ وَيَعْقِدُ "
