Chapter on Purification of Ground from Urine
باب طهارة الأرض من البول
Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 4240
(4240) It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that a villager entered the mosque while the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was present. He prayed two rak'ahs and then said: "O Allah! Have mercy on me and Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and have mercy on no one else besides us." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "You have confined something very vast." After a while, he urinated in the mosque, so the people rushed towards him. You (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade them and said: "Pour a bucket of water over it. You have been sent to make things easy, not to make things difficult."

(٤٢٤٠) ابوہریرہ (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ ایک دیہاتی مسجد میں داخل ہوا اور نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) تشریف فرما تھے۔ اس نے دو رکعت نماز ادا کر کے کہا : اے اللہ ! مجھ پر اور محمد (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) پر رحمت فرما اور ہمارے علاوہ کسی پر رحمت نہ کر۔ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : تو نے بڑی وسیع چیز کو بند کردیا ہے۔ تھوڑی دیر کے بعد اس نے مسجد میں پیشاب کردیا تو لوگوں نے اس کی طرف جلدی کی۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے منع کیا اور فرمایا : اس پر پانی کا ڈول بہا دو ۔ تم آسانی کرنے والے بنا کر بھیجے گئے ہو نہ کہ تنگی کرنے والے۔
(4240) Abu Hurairah (RA) se riwayat hai keh ek dehati masjid mein dakhil hua aur Nabi (SAW) tashreef farma thay. Usne do rakat namaz ada kar ke kaha: Aye Allah! Mujh par aur Muhammad (SAW) par rehmat farma aur humare ilawa kisi par rehmat na kar. Nabi (SAW) ne farmaya: Tu ne badi wasee cheez ko band kar diya hai. Thori dair ke baad usne masjid mein peshab kar diya to logon ne us ki taraf jaldi ki. Aap (SAW) ne mana kiya aur farmaya: Is par pani ka dol baha do. Tum asani karne wale bana kar bheje gaye ho na keh tangi karne wale.
٤٢٤٠ - وَقَدْ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ الْقَطَّانُ بِبَغْدَادَ، أنبأ أَبُو سَهْلِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ الْقَطَّانُ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْقَاضِي، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ،ثنا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ:أَحْفَظُ ذَلِكَ مِنْ كَلَامِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ،عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ:دَخَلَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ الْمَسْجِدَ، وَرَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَالِسٌ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ،ثُمَّ قَالَ:اللهُمُ ارْحَمْنِي، وَمُحَمَّدًا وَلَا تَرْحَمْ مَعَنَا أَحَدًا،فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" لَقَدْ تَحَجَّرْتَ وَاسِعًا "فَلَمْ يَلْبَثْ أَنْ بَالَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ،فَعَجَّلَ النَّاسُ إِلَيْهِ فَنَهَاهُمْ عَنْهُ وَقَالَ:" صُبُّوا عَلَيْهِ سَجْلًا مِنْ مَاءٍ، أَوْ ذَنُوبًا مِنْ مَاءٍ، فَإِنَّمَا بُعِثْتُمْ مُيَسِّرِينَ، وَلَمْ تُبْعَثُوا مُعَسِّرِينَ "قَالَ: وَثنا بِهِ سُفْيَانُ مَرَّةً أُخْرَى،فَقَالَ:قَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ: أَخْبَرَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ٤٢٤١ - وَأنبأ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى، أنبأ أَبُو بَحْرٍ الْبَرْبَهَارِيُّ، ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ كَمَا أَقُولُ لَكَ،وَلَا يُحْتَاجُ فِيهِ إِلَى أَحَدٍ قَالَ:أَخْبَرَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، فَذَكَرَهُ بِنَحْوِهِ
