Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 4636
Abbas bin Walid bin Mazid narrates from his father that Auza'i was asked about Qunut in the month of Ramadan, so he said: In mosques with congregations, Qunut was offered from the beginning to the end of the month, but the people of Medina would offer Qunut in the last half.

(٤٦٣٦) عباس بن ولید بن مزید اپنے باپ سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ اوزاعی سے رمضان کے مہینہ میں قنوت کے بارے میں سوال کیا گیا تو انھوں نے کہا : جماعت والی مساجد میں شروع مہینہ سے آخر تک قنوت پڑھی جاتی، لیکن مدینہ والے آخری نصف میں قنوت پڑھتے تھے۔

٤٦٣٦ - وَأنبأ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ،وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالَا:ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ هُوَ ⦗٧٠٣⦘ الْأَصَمُّ،أنبأ الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ مَزْيَدٍ قَالَ:أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي قَالَ: سُئِلَ الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ عَنِ الْقُنُوتِ فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ قَالَ:" أَمَّا مَسَاجِدُ الْجَمَاعَةِ فَيَقْنُتُونَ مِنْ أَوَّلِ الشَّهْرِ إِلَى آخِرِهِ، وَأَمَّا أَهْلُ الْمَدِينَةِ فَإِنَّهُمْ يَقْنُتُونَ فِي النِّصْفِ الْبَاقِي إِلَى انْسِلَاخِهِ "وَقَدْ رُوِيَ فِيهِ حَدِيثٌ مُسْنَدٌ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ ضَعِيفٌ لَا يَصِحُّ إِسْنَادُهُ
