Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 4734
Hamid says that Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) was asked about the Prophet's (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayers and voluntary fasting, so he said: When you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would start fasting in a month, we would say that you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) do not intend to break the fast and when you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would start leaving the fast of the month, we would think that you will not keep the fast of this month. We would see you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) praying in the part of the night we wished to and when we wished to see you sleeping, we would see you sleeping too.

(٤٧٣٤) حمید فرماتے ہیں کہ انس (رض) سے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی نماز اور نفلی روزہ کے بارے میں سوال کیا گیا تو انھوں نے فرمایا : آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) مہینہ میں روزے رکھنا شروع کرتے تو ہم کہتے کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کا روزہ چھوڑنے کا ارادہ نہیں ہے اور جب آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) مہینہ کے روزے چھوڑنے شروع کردیتے تو ہم خیال کرتے کہ آپ اس مہینے کے روزے نہیں رکھیں گے۔ رات کے جس حصہ میں ہم آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو نماز پڑھتے دیکھنا چاہتے تو دیکھ لیتے اور جب سوئے ہوئے دیکھنا چاہتے تو بھی دیکھ لیتے۔
(4734) Hamid farmate hain ki Anas (RA) se Nabi (SAW) ki namaz aur nafli roza ke bare mein sawal kiya gaya to unhon ne farmaya : Aap (SAW) mahine mein roza rakhna shuru karte to hum kahte ke Aap (SAW) ka roza chhorne ka irada nahi hai aur jab Aap (SAW) mahine ke roze chhorne shuru karte to hum khayal karte ke Aap is mahine ke roze nahi rakhenge. Raat ke jis hisse mein hum Aap (SAW) ko namaz parhte dekhna chahte to dekh lete aur jab soye hue dekhna chahte to bhi dekh lete.
٤٧٣٤ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْفَقِيهُ، مِنْ أَصْلِهِ، أنبأ أَبُو الْفَضْلِ عَبْدُوسُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ مَنْصُورٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو حَاتِمٍ الرَّازِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ،حَدَّثَنِي حُمَيْدٌ قَالَ:سُئِلَ أَنَسٌ عَنْ صَلَاةِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَصَوْمِهِ تَطَوُّعًا،قَالَ:" كَانَ يَصُومُ مِنَ الشَّهْرِ حَتَّى نَقُولَ: مَا يُرِيدُ أَنْ يُفْطِرَ مِنْهُ شَيْئًا،وَيُفْطِرُ مِنَ الشَّهْرِ حَتَّى نَقُولَ:مَا يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَصُومَ مِنْهُ شَيْئًا، وَمَا كُنَّا نَشَاءُ أَنْ نَرَاهُ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ مُصَلِّيًا إِلَّا رَأَيْنَاهُ، وَلَا نَرَاهُ نَائِمًا إِلَّا رَأَيْنَاهُ "
