Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 4742
'Aynah bin 'Abd ar-Rahman narrated from his father that Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I was walking and I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and I thought that he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was in need of something. Sometimes I would come before him (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and sometimes I would hide myself, so he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) called me and took hold of my hand. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw a man who was offering many prayers. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Are you looking at what I am looking at?" Then he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) removed his hand from my hand, and he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Be moderate, be moderate." Then he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) struck one of his hands against the other and said: "Whoever is harsh and extreme in this religion, it will overcome him."

(٤٧٤٢) عیینہ بن عبدالرحمن اپنے والد سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ بریدہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں : میں چل رہا تھا، میں نے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو دیکھا تو گمان کیا کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو کوئی ضرورت ہے۔ کبھی تو میں آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے سامنے آتا اور کبھی چھپ جاتا تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے مجھے بلایا اور میرا ہاتھ پکڑ لیا۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ایک شخص کو دیکھا ، وہ رکوع و سجود زیادہ کررہا تھا۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : کیا تو میرے دیکھنے کو دیکھ رہا ہے۔ پھر آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اپنا ہاتھ میرے ہاتھ سے الگ کرلیا، پھر آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : تم میانہ روی اختیار کرو، تم میانہ روی اختیار کرو۔ پھر آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اپنے دونوں ہاتھوں میں سے ایک کو دوسرے پر مارا اور فرمایا : جس نے اس دین کے بارے میں سختی کی تو یہ اس پر غالب آجائے گا۔
Aayena bin Abdurrahman apne walid se naql farmate hain ki Buraidah (RA) farmate hain : mein chal raha tha, maine Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ko dekha to guman kiya ki aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ko koi zaroorat hai. Kabhi to mein aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke samne aata aur kabhi chhup jata to aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne mujhe bulaya aur mera hath pakad liya. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne ek shakhs ko dekha, woh ruku aur sijda ziyada kar raha tha. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : kya tu mere dekhne ko dekh raha hai. Phir aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne apna hath mere hath se alag kar liya, phir aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : tum miyanaravi ikhtiyar karo, tum miyanaravi ikhtiyar karo. Phir aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) apne donon hathon mein se ek ko dusre par mara aur farmaya : jisne is Deen ke bare mein sakhti ki to yeh is par ghalib aa jayega.
٤٧٤٢ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الدُّورِيُّ، ثنا أَشْهَلُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ، ثنا عُيَيْنَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ،عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ:قَالَ بُرَيْدَةُ: انْطَلَقْتُ فَرَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَظَنَنْتُ أَنَّ لَهُ حَاجَةً، فَجَعَلْتُ أُعَارِضُهُ وَأَحْبِسُ عَنْهُ،قَالَ:فَدَعَانِي فَأَخَذَ بِيَدِي، فَرَأَى رَجُلًا يُكْثِرُ الرُّكُوعَ وَالسُّجُودَ،فَقَالَ:" أَتَرَاهُ مُرَائِيًا، أَتَرَاهُ مُرَائِيًا؟ "قَالَ: فَتَرَكَ يَدَهُ مِنْ يَدِي وَقَالَ:" عَلَيْكُمْ هَدْيًا قَاصِدًا، عَلَيْكُمْ هَدْيًا قَاصِدًا "وَضَرَبَ بِإِحْدَى يَدَيْهِ عَلَى الْأُخْرَى" فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ يُشَادَّ هَذَا الدِّينَ يَغْلِبْهُ "
