Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 5110
Ata' (rahimahullah) said: "If I missed the 'Isha prayer, I would come to the mosque and if the people were in the first rak'ah, I would pray two rak'ahs with them and then complete my prayer by praying two more rak'ahs. He considered it his 'Isha prayer. Note: A group of people came to Abu Raja' Atardi, they wanted to pray the Zuhr prayer with him, but the congregation had already prayed. They said: "We came to pray with you." He said: "I will not let you be at a loss," so he stood up and prayed with them.

(٥١١٠) عطاء (رح) فرماتے ہیں کہ عشا کی نماز رہ جاتی تو وہ مسجد میں آتے اور لوگ قیام میں ہوتے تو ان کے ساتھ دو رکعات پڑھ لیتے اور مزید دو رکعات پڑھ کر نماز پوری کرتے ، وہ اس کو عشا کی نماز خیال کرتے تھے۔ نوٹ : ایک قوم ابو رجا عطاردی کے پاس آئی، وہ ظہر کی نماز پڑھنا چاہتے تھے، لیکن جماعت ہوچکی تھی۔ وہ کہنے لگے : ہم تو آپ کے ساتھ نماز پڑھنے آئے تھے۔ وہ کہنے لگے : میں تمہیں نقصان میں نہیں چھوڑوں گا، پھر کھڑے ہوئے اور ان کے ساتھ نماز پڑھی۔

٥١١٠ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، أنبأ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، أنبأ الشَّافِعِيُّ، أنبأ مُسْلِمٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، أَنَّ عَطَاءً كَانَ تَفُوتُهُ الْعَتَمَةُ فَيَأْتِي وَالنَّاسُ فِي الْقِيَامِ فَيُصَلِّي مَعَهُمْ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَيَبْنِي عَلَيْهَا رَكْعَتَيْنِ، وَأَنَّهُ رَآهُ فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ وَيَعْتَدُّ بِهِ مِنَ الْعَتَمَةِ "
