Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 540
It is narrated from the slave of Yasar bin Numair that when Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) used to urinate, he would say: Give me something with which I can clean myself. The narrator said: I used to give him a piece of wood or stone, or he would go near a wall and wipe himself with it, or he would touch the ground and he would not wash it.

(٥٤٠) یسار بن نمیر کے غلام سے روایت ہے کہ سیدنا عمر (رض) جب پیشاب کرتے تو کہتے : مجھے کوئی چیز دو جس سے میں استنجا کروں راوی کہتا ہے : میں ان کو لکڑی اور پتھر دیتا یا آپ دیوار کے پاس آتے اور اس سے مسح کرتے یا زمین کو چھوتے اور اس کو دھوتے نہیں تھے۔

٥٤٠ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ السُّكَّرِيُّ بِبَغْدَادَ، نا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا عَبَّاسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ التَّرْقُفِيُّ، نا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَعْلَى، نا أَبِي، عَنْ غَيْلَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ مَوْلَى عُمَرَ يَسَارِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ،قَالَ:كَانَ عُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ إِذَا بَالَ قَالَ:" نَاوِلْنِي شَيْئًا أَسْتَنْجِي بِهِ "قَالَ: فَأُنَاوِلُهُ الْعُودَ وَالْحَجَرَ، أَوْ يَأْتِي حَائِطًا يَمْسَحُ بِهِ أَوْ يَمَسَّ الْأَرْضَ، وَلَمْ يَكُنْ يَغْسِلُهُ " وَهَذَا أَصَحُّ مَا رُوِيَ فِي هَذَا الْبَابِ وَأَعْلَاهُ
