Chapter: The Traveler Continues to Shorten the Prayer as Long as He Does Not Intend to Stay, Unless His Stay Reaches the Duration of the Prophet's Stay in Mecca During the Conquest
باب المسافر يقصر ما لم يجمع مكثا ما لم يبلغ مقامه ما أقام رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم بمكة عام الفتح
Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 5466
(5466) It is narrated by Ikrimah on the authority of Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stayed for nineteen days during the year of the Conquest and shortened the prayers, i.e., he prayed two rak'ahs (units) for each prayer.

(٥٤٦٦) عکرمہ ابن عباس (رض) سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فتح کے سال انیس دن قیام کیا اور نماز قصر کی۔ یعنی دو دو رکعات پڑھتے رہے۔
Ukarama ibne Abbas (Razi Allah Anho) se riwayat karte hain ki Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne fath ke saal unees din qayam kya aur namaz qasar ki yani do do rakat parhte rahe.
وَرَوَاهُ ابْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ" تِسْعَ عَشْرَةَ "٥٤٦٦ - أَخْبَرَنَاهُ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ، أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا أَبُو عِمْرَانَ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، ثنا عَبَّادُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ،عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ:" أَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ زَمَنَ الْفَتْحِ تِسْعَةَ عَشَرَ لَيْلَةً يُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ".
