Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 7055
(7055) Abi Zinad, Rabi'ah and Abu An-Nadr, all three narrate without any difference that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was lowered into the grave from the side of his head, by Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) and Umar (may Allah be pleased with him). The Shaikh says: This was the well-known practice amongst the people of Hijaz.

(٧٠٥٥) ابی زناد ‘ ربیعہ اور ابو النضر تینوں بغیر اختلاف کے بیان فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ابوبکر (رض) اور عمر (رض) سر کی جانب سے لحد میں اتارے گئے۔ شیخ فرماتے ہیں : یہ طریقہ اہل حجاز میں مشہور ہے۔
7055 Abi Zanad, Rabia aur Abul Nadar teeno baghair ikhtilaf ke bayan farmate hain ke Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) Abubakar (RA) aur Umar (RA) sar ki janib se lahad mein utare gaye. Sheikh farmate hain: Yeh tareeqa ahle Hijaz mein mashhoor hai.
٧٠٥٥ - وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ، أنبأ الرَّبِيعُ، أنبأ الشَّافِعِيُّ، أنبأ بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِنَا، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، وَرَبِيعَةَ، وَأَبِي النَّضْرِ،لَا اخْتِلَافَ بَيْنَهُمْ فِي ذَلِكَ:" أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُلَّ مِنْ قِبَلِ رَأْسِهِ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ، وَعُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا "قَالَ الشَّيْخُ: هَذَا هُوَ الْمَشْهُورُ فِيمَا بَيْنَ أَهْلِ الْحِجَازِ
