Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 8393
Hunaid bin Khalid narrates to us from some of the wives of the Prophet (peace be upon him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to fast on the 9th of Dhul-Hijjah, the Day of Ashura, three days of every month, as well as every Monday and Thursday of every month.

(٨٣٩٣) ہنیدبن خالد بعض ازواج النبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نو ذوالحج کا روزہ رکھا کرتے تھے اور عاشور کا بھی اور تین روزے ہر مہینے کے اسی طرح ہر مہینے سے پیر اور خمس جمعرات کا۔
8393 Hanid bin Khalid baaz azwaj un Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se bayan karte hain ke Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) 9 Zulhijja ka roza rakha karte the aur Ashura ka bhi aur teen roze har maheene ke isi tarah har maheene se peer aur khums jumaraat ka.
٨٣٩٣ - أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ، أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، ثنا زِيَادُ بْنُ الْخَلِيلِ، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثنا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنِ الْحُرِّ بْنِ الصَّيَّاحِ، عَنْ هُنَيْدَةَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ، عَنِ امْرَأَتِهِ، عَنْ بَعْضِ أَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ،قَالَتْ:" كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَصُومُ تِسْعَ ذِي الْحِجَّةِ وَيَوْمَ عَاشُورَاءَ وَثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ أَوَّلَ اثْنَيْنِ مِنَ الشَّهْرِ وَالْخَمِيسَ تَعْنِي وَيَوْمًا آخَرَ "وَرَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ عَنْ مُسَدَّدٍ
