Abdullah bin Abu Qatada (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that his father said ‘we proceeded with the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) in the year of Al-Hudaibiya and his companions assumed Ihram, but I did not. We were informed that some enemies were at Ghaiqa and so we went on towards them. My companions saw an onager and some of them started laughing among themselves. I looked and saw it. I chased it with my horse and stabbed and caught it. I wanted some help from my companions, but they refused. (I slaughtered it all alone). We all ate from it (its meat). Then I followed Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) lest we should be left behind. At times I urged my horse to run at a galloping speed and at other times at an ordinary slow speed. On the way I met a man from the tribe of Bani Ghifar at midnight. I asked him where he had left Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم). The man replied that he had left the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) at a place called Ta'hun and he had the intention of having the midday rest at As-Suqya. So, I followed Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) till I reached him and said, ‘O Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), I have been sent by my companions who send you their greetings and compliments and ask for Allah's Mercy and Blessings upon you. They were afraid lest the enemy might intervene between you and them; so please wait for them.’ So, he did. Then I said, ‘O Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), we have hunted an onager and have some of it (its meat) left over.’ Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) told his companions to eat the meat although all of them were in a state of Ihram.’
حضرت ابوقتادہ ؓ سے روایت ہے، انھوں نے فرمایا کہ ہم حدیبیہ کے سال نبی ﷺ کے ہمراہ روانہ ہوئے۔ آپ کے تمام اصحاب نے احرام باندھ لیا مگر میں نے احرام نہ باندھا۔ پھر ہمیں خبر ملی تھی کہ مقام غیقہ میں دشمن موجود ہے، لہٰذا ہم ان کی طرف چل دیے۔ میرے ساتھیوں نےایک جنگلی گدھا دیکھا تو وہ ایک دوسرےکو دیکھ کر ہنسے۔ میں نے نظر اٹھائی تو اسے دیکھا، اس کے پیچھے گھوڑا دوڑایا اور اسے زخمی کر کے گرالیا۔ پھر میں نے اپنے ساتھیوں سے مدد چاہی لیکن انھوں نے میری مدد کرنے سے صاف انکار کردیا۔ بالآخر ہم سب نے اس کا گوشت کھایا۔ پھر میں رسول اللہ ﷺ سے جا ملا۔ ہمیں خوف تھا کہ ہم رسول اللہ ﷺ سے پیچھےرہ جائیں گے اس لیے میں کبھی اپنے گھوڑےکو تیزچلاتا اور کبھی آہستہ چلاتا، بالآخرمیں آدھی رات کو بنو غفارکے ایک شخص سے ملا تو اس سے دریافت کیا کہ تونے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو کہاں چھوڑا ہے؟اس نے کہا: میں نے آپ کو تعہن چشمےپر چھوڑاتھا اور آپ مقام سقیا میں قیلولہ کرنے کا ارادہ رکھتے تھے بالآخر میں رسول اللہ ﷺ سے جاملا اور آپ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہو کر عرض کیا، اللہ کے رسول ﷺ !مجھے آپ کے ساتھیوں نے روانہ کیا ہے اور وہ آپ کو سلام عرض کرتےہیں اور آپ کے لیے رحمت الٰہی کی دعا مانگتے ہیں۔ انھیں یہ اندیشہ ہے کہ مبادا دشمن ہمیں آپ سے جدا کردے، لہٰذا آپ ان کا انتظار فرمائیں، چنانچہ آپ نے ایسا ہی کیا۔ پھر میں نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول اللہ ﷺ !ہم نے ایک جنگلی گدھا شکار کیا تھا اور ہمارے پاس اس کے گوشت سے بچا ہوا ایک ٹکڑا ہے، تو رسول اللہ ﷺ نےاپنے صحابہ کرام رضوان اللہ عنھم اجمعین کو حکم دیا کہ ’’ کھاؤ ‘‘ حالانکہ وہ سب محرم تھے۔
Hazrat Abu Qatadah (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai, unhon ne farmaya ke hum Hudaibiyah ke saal Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke humrah rawana huye. Aap ke tamam as'haab ne ihram bandh liya magar main ne ihram na bandha. Phir humein khabar mili thi ke maqam-e-Ghaiqah mein dushman maujood hai, lehaza hum in ki taraf chal diye. Mere sathiyon ne ek jungli gadha dekha to wo ek dusre ko dekh kar hanse. Main ne nazar uthai to ise dekha, is ke peeche ghora doraya aur ise zakhmi kar ke gira liya. Phir main ne apne sathiyon se madad chahi lekin unhon ne meri madad karne se saaf inkaar kar diya. Bil-aakhir hum sab ne is ka gosht khaya. Phir main Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se ja mila. Humein khauf tha ke hum Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se peeche reh jayenge is liye main kabhi apne ghore ko taiz chalata aur kabhi aahista chalata, bil-aakhir main aadhi raat ko Banu Ghifar ke ek shakhs se mila to is se daryaft kiya ke tune Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko kahan chhora hai? Is ne kaha: Main ne aap ko Ta'hun chashme par chhora tha aur aap maqam-e-Suqya mein qaylulah karne ka irada rakhte thay. Bil-aakhir main Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se ja mila aur aap ki khidmat mein hazir ho kar arz kiya, Allah ke Rasool (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam)! Mujhe aap ke sathiyon ne rawana kiya hai aur wo aap ko salam arz karte hain aur aap ke liye Rehmat-e-Ilahi ki dua mangte hain. Unhein ye andesha hai ke mabada dushman humein aap se juda kar de, lehaza aap in ka intezar farmayen, chunanche aap ne aisa hi kiya. Phir main ne arz kiya: Allah ke Rasool (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam)! Hum ne ek jungli gadha shikaar kiya tha aur hamare paas is ke gosht se bacha hua ek tukra hai, to Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne apne Sahaba-e-Karam (Ridwanullahi Alaihim Ajmaeen) ko hukm diya ke "Khao" haalanke wo sab muhrim thay.
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ ، أَنَّ أَبَاهُ حَدَّثَهُ ، قَالَ : انْطَلَقْنَا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَامَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ ، فَأَحْرَمَ أَصْحَابُهُ وَلَمْ أُحْرِمْ ، فَأُنْبِئْنَا بِعَدُوٍّ بِغَيْقَةَ فَتَوَجَّهْنَا نَحْوَهُمْ ، فَبَصُرَ أَصْحَابِي بِحِمَارِ وَحْشٍ ، فَجَعَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ يَضْحَكُ إِلَى بَعْضٍ ، فَنَظَرْتُ فَرَأَيْتُهُ ، فَحَمَلْتُ عَلَيْهِ الْفَرَسَ ، فَطَعَنْتُهُ ، فَأَثْبَتُّهُ ، فَاسْتَعَنْتُهُمْ ، فَأَبَوْا أَنْ يُعِينُونِي فَأَكَلْنَا مِنْهُ ، ثُمَّ لَحِقْتُ بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَخَشِينَا أَنْ نُقْتَطَعَ أَرْفَعُ فَرَسِي شَأْوًا وَأَسِيرُ عَلَيْهِ شَأْوًا ، فَلَقِيتُ رَجُلًا مِنْ بَنِي غِفَارٍ فِي جَوْفِ اللَّيْلِ ، فَقُلْتُ : أَيْنَ تَرَكْتَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ فَقَالَ : تَرَكْتُهُ بِتَعْهَنَ وَهُوَ قَائِلٌ السُّقْيَا ، فَلَحِقْتُ بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَتَّى أَتَيْتُهُ ، فَقُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنَّ أَصْحَابَكَ أَرْسَلُوا يَقْرَءُونَ عَلَيْكَ السَّلَامَ وَرَحْمَةَ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتِهِ ، وَإِنَّهُمْ قَدْ خَشُوا أَنْ يَقْتَطِعَهُمُ الْعَدُوُّ دُونَكَ فَانْظُرْهُمْ ، فَفَعَلَ ، فَقُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنَّا اصَّدْنَا حِمَارَ وَحْشٍ وَإِنَّ عِنْدَنَا فَاضِلَةً ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِأَصْحَابِهِ : كُلُوا وَهُمْ مُحْرِمُونَ .
