Amr bin Yahya (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said on the authority of his father, that his uncle used to perform ablution extravagantly and once he asked Abdullah bin Zaid ( رضي الله تعالى عنه) to tell him how he had seen the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) performing ablution. He asked for an earthenware pot containing water, and poured water from it on his hands and washed them thrice, and then put his hand in the earthenware pot and rinsed his mouth and washed his nose by putting water in it and then blowing it out thrice with one handful of water; he again put his hand in the water and took a handful of water and washed his face thrice, then washed his hands up to the elbows twice, and took water with his hand, and passed it over his head from front to back and then from back to front, and then washed his feet (up to the ankles) and said, 'I saw the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) performing ablution in this way.'
عمرو بن یحییٰ اپنے والد سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ میرے چچا (عمرو بن ابی الھسن) وضو کرتے وقت بہت زیادہ پانی بہاتے تھے۔ انہوں نے حضرت عبداللہ بن زید ؓ سے درخواست کی کہ آپ مجھے نبی ﷺ کے وضو سے آگاہ فرمائیں، چنانچہ انہوں نے پانی کا ایک طشت منگوایا اور اس سے اپنے دونوں ہاتھوں پر پانی انڈیلا۔ پھر انہیں تین مرتبہ دھویا۔ پھر اس طشت میں ہاتھ ڈال کر ایک ہی چلو پانی سے تین بار کلی کی اور ناک میں پانی ڈال کر اسے صاف کیا۔ پھر انہوں نے اپنا ہاتھ برتن میں ڈالا، دونوں ہاتھوں میں پانی لے کر تین مرتبہ اپنے چہرے کو دھویا، پھر اپنے دونوں ہاتھ کہنیوں تک دو، دو بار دھوئے۔ اس کے بعد انہوں نے اپنے ہاتھ میں پانی لیا اور اس سے اپنے سر کا مسح کیا۔ مسح کے وقت ہاتھوں کو پیچھے لے گئے، پھر آگے لائے۔ پھر اپنے دونوں پاؤں دھوئے اور فرمایا: میں نے نبی ﷺ کو اسی طرح وضو کرتے ہوئے دیکھا ہے۔
Amr bin Yahya apne walid se riwayat karte hain ke mere chacha (Amr bin Abi Alhassan) wazu karte waqt bahut ziyada pani bahate the. Unhon ne Hazrat Abdullah bin Zayd (Raziallahu Anhu) se darkhwast ki ke aap mujhe Nabi (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke wazu se agah farmayen, chunancha unhon ne pani ka ek tasht mangwaya aur us se apne donon hathon par pani undela. Phir unhein teen martaba dhoya. Phir us tasht mein hath dal kar ek hi chullu pani se teen bar kulli ki aur naak mein pani dal kar use saaf kiya. Phir unhon ne apna hath bartan mein dala, donon hathon mein pani le kar teen martaba apne chehre ko dhoya, phir apne donon hath kehoniyon tak do, do bar dhoye. Iske baad unhon ne apne hath mein pani liya aur us se apne sar ka masah kiya. Masah ke waqt hathon ko peechhe le gaye, phir aage laye. Phir apne donon paon dhoye aur farmaya: Maine Nabi (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko isi tarah wazu karte hue dekha hai.
حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ يَحْيَى ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : كَانَ عَمِّي يُكْثِرُ مِنَ الْوُضُوءِ ، قَالَ لِعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ أَخْبِرْنِيِ كَيْفَ رَأَيْتَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَتَوَضَّأُ ؟ فَدَعَا بِتَوْرٍ مِنْ مَاءٍ ، فَكَفَأَ عَلَى يَدَيْهِ فَغَسَلَهُمَا ثَلَاثَ مِرَارٍ ، ثُمَّ أَدْخَلَ يَدَهُ فِي التَّوْرِ فَمَضْمَضَ وَاسْتَنْثَرَ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ مِنْ غَرْفَةٍ وَاحِدَةٍ ، ثُمَّ أَدْخَلَ يَدَهُ فَاغْتَرَفَ بِهَا فَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ ، ثُمَّ غَسَلَ يَدَيْهِ إِلَى الْمِرْفَقَيْنِ مَرَّتَيْنِ مَرَّتَيْنِ ، ثُمَّ أَخَذَ بِيَدِهِ مَاءً فَمَسَحَ رَأْسَهُ فَأَدْبَرَ بِيَديْهِ وَأَقْبَلَ ، ثُمَّ غَسَلَ رِجْلَيْهِ ، فَقَالَ : هَكَذَا رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَتَوَضَّأُ .
