Jabir bin Abdullah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that his father was martyred on the day (of the battle) of Uhud, and his creditors demanded the debt back in a harsh manner. So, I went to Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) and informed him of that. The Prophet ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) asked them to accept the fruits of my garden and excuse my father, but they refused. So, Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) did not give them the fruits, nor did he cut them and distribute them among them, but said, ‘I will come to you tomorrow morning.’ So, he came to us the next morning and walked about in between the date-palms and invoked Allah to bless the fruits. Later, I plucked the fruits and gave back all the rights of the creditors in full, and a lot of fruits were left for us. Then I went to Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), who was sitting, and informed him about what happened. Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) told Umar ( رضي الله تعالى عنه), who was sitting there, to listen to the story. Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said, ‘don't we know that you are Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)? By Allah! you are Allah's Apostle ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم).’
حضرت جابر بن عبداللہ ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ ان کے والد غزوہ احد میں شہید ہوئے توان کے قرض خواہوں نے اپنے حقوق کی ادائیگی کا سختی سے مطالبہ کیا۔ میں رسول اللہ ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوااور آپ سے گفتگو کی۔ آپ نے قرض خواہوں سے کہا کہ وہ میرے باغ کا پھل قبول کرلیں۔ اورمیرے باپ کو قرض کی ذمہ داری سے بری کردیں تو انھوں نے صاف انکار کردیا۔ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے پھر ان لوگوں کو میرا باغ نہیں دیا اور نہ ان کے لیے پھل ہی تڑوایا بلکہ آپ نے فرمایا: ’’میں تیرے پاس إن شاء اللہ تعالیٰ کل آؤں گا۔‘‘ چنانچہ آپ اگلے روزصبح تشریف لائے۔ نخلستان میں چکر لگایا اور پھل میں برکت کی دعا فرمائی، پھر میں نے باغ کا پھل توڑا اور قرض خواہوں کے تمام حقوق ادا کردیے، باغ کےپھل میں سے کچھ بچ بھی رہا۔ پھر میں رسول اللہ ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہواجبکہ آپ تشریف فرماتھے۔ میں نے صورت واقعہ سے آپ کو آگاہ کیا تو آپ نے حضرت عمر ؓ سے فرمایا جو وہاں بیٹھے ہوئے تھے: ’’عمر!سن رہے ہو؟‘‘ حضرت عمر فاروق ؓ نے عرض کیا: یہ کیوں نہ ہوتا!ہم تو پہلے ہی آپ کو اللہ تعالیٰ کافرستادہ مانتے ہیں۔ اللہ کی قسم!واقعی آپ اللہ کے رسول ﷺ ہیں۔
Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullah (radiyallahu anhu) se riwayat hai ke in ke walid ghazwa-e-Uhud mein shaheed hue to in ke qarz-khwahon ne apne huqooq ki adayigi ka sakhti se mutaliba kiya. Main Rasool Allah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) ki khidmat mein hazir hua aur Aap se guftagu ki. Aap ne qarz-khwahon se kaha ke wo mere bagh ka phal qubool kar lein aur mere baap ko qarz ki zimmedari se bari kar dein to unhon ne saaf inkar kar diya. Rasool Allah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) ne phir in logon ko mera bagh nahi diya aur na in ke liye phal hi turwaya balkay Aap ne farmaya: ''Main tere paas insha-Allah-Ta'ala kal aaon ga.'' Chunanche Aap agle roz subah tashreef laye. Nakhlistan mein chakkar lagaya aur phal mein barakat ki dua farmayi, phir main ne bagh ka phal tora aur qarz-khwahon ke tamam huqooq ada kar diye, bagh ke phal mein se kuch bach bhi raha. Phir main Rasool Allah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) ki khidmat mein hazir hua jabke Aap tashreef farma the. Main ne soorat-e-waqia se Aap ko aagah kiya to Aap ne Hazrat Umar (radiyallahu anhu) se farmaya jo wahan baithe hue the: ''Umar! Sun rahe ho?'' Hazrat Umar Farooq (radiyallahu anhu) ne arz kiya: Ye kyun na hota! Hum to pehle hi Aap ko Allah Ta'ala ka faristada maante hain. Allah ki qasam! Waqayi Aap Allah ke Rasool (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) hain.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ ، وَقَالَ اللَّيْثُ : حَدَّثَنِي يُونُسُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، أَنَّ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا أَخْبَرَهُ ، أَنَّ أَبَاهُ قُتِلَ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ شَهِيدًا ، فَاشْتَدَّ الْغُرَمَاءُ فِي حُقُوقِهِمْ ، فَأَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَكَلَّمْتُهُ ، فَسَأَلَهُمْ أَنْ يَقْبَلُوا ثَمَرَ حَائِطِي وَيُحَلِّلُوا أَبِي ، فَأَبَوْا ، فَلَمْ يُعْطِهِمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَائِطِي وَلَمْ يَكْسِرْهُ لَهُمْ ، وَلَكِنْ قَالَ : سَأَغْدُو عَلَيْكَ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ ، فَغَدَا عَلَيْنَا حِينَ أَصْبَحَ ، فَطَافَ فِي النَّخْلِ ، وَدَعَا فِي ثَمَرِهِ بِالْبَرَكَةِ ، فَجَدَدْتُهَا فَقَضَيْتُهُمْ حُقُوقَهُمْ وَبَقِيَ لَنَا مِنْ ثَمَرِهَا بَقِيَّةٌ ، ثُمَّ جِئْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ بِذَلِكَ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِعُمَرَ : اسْمَعْ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ يَا عُمَرُ ، فَقَالَ : أَلَّا يَكُونُ قَدْ عَلِمْنَا أَنَّكَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ، وَاللَّهِ إِنَّكَ لَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ .
