Urwa bin Al-Mughira narrated that his father Al-Mughira bin Shu`ba (رضي الله تعالى عنه), said, ‘the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) went out to answer the call of nature and (when he had finished) I got up to pour water for him.’ I think that he said that the event had taken place during the Ghazwa of Tabuk. Al-Mughira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) added, the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) washed his face, and when he wanted to wash his forearms, the sleeves of his cloak became tight over them, so he took them out from underneath the cloak and then he washed them (his forearms) and passed wet hands over his Khuffs (socks made from thick fabric or leather).’
حضرت مغیرہ بن شعبہ ؓ سے روایت ہے، انہوں نے کہا: نبی ﷺ قضائے حاجت کے لیے تشریف لے گئے تو میں آپ کے لیے وضو کا پانی لے کر حاضر ہوا ۔۔ جہاں تک مجھے یقین ہے یہ واقعہ غزوہ تبوک کا ہے ۔۔ آپ نے اپنا چہرہ مبارک دھویا پھر آپ نے اپنے ہاتھ کہنیوں تک دھونے کا ارادہ کیا تو جبے کی آستین تنگ نکلی، چنانچہ آپ نے اپنے ہاتھ جبے کے نیچے سے نکال لیے اور انہیں دھویا، پھر موزوں پر مسح فرمایا۔
Hazrat Mughirah bin Shu'bah (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai, unhon ne kaha: Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) qazaye hajat ke liye tashreef le gaye to main Aap ke liye wuzu ka pani le kar hazir hua.. jahan tak mujhe yaqeen hai yeh waqia Ghazwa-e-Tabuk ka hai.. Aap ne apna chehra mubarak dhoya phir Aap ne apne hath kohniyon tak dhone ka irada kiya to jubbe ki aasteen tang nikli, chunanche Aap ne apne hath jubbe ke neeche se nikal liye aur unhein dhoya, phir mauzon par masah farmaya.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ ، عَنْ اللَّيْثِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ ، قَالَ : ذَهَبَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِبَعْضِ حَاجَتِهِ ، فَقُمْتُ أَسْكُبُ عَلَيْهِ الْمَاءَ لَا أَعْلَمُهُ إِلَّا قَالَ فِي غَزْوَةِ تَبُوكَ فَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ وَذَهَبَ يَغْسِلُ ذِرَاعَيْهِ ، فَضَاقَ عَلَيْهِ كُمُّ الْجُبَّةِ فَأَخْرَجَهُمَا مِنْ تَحْتِ جُبَّتِهِ فَغَسَلَهُمَا ثُمَّ مَسَحَ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ .
