And Ahmed bin Shabeeb narrated to us, he said our father Shabeeb bin Saeed narrated to us, from Yunus bin Yazid, from Ibn Shihab, from Urwah, and from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) who said, "May Allah have mercy on those women who participated in the first Hijrah. When Allah the Almighty revealed the verse '...and let them draw their veils over their bosoms...' (so that their chests and necks may not be exposed), they tore their garments and made veils with them."
حضرت عائشہ ؓ سے روایت ہے، انہوں نے فرمایا: اللہ تعالٰی ان عورتوں پر رحم کرے جنہوں نے پہلے پہل ہجرت کی! جب یہ آیت کریمہ نازل ہوئی: ’’اپنے دوپٹے اپنے سینوں پر ڈالے رکھا کریں۔‘‘ تو انہوں نے اپنی چادروں کو پھاڑ کر ان کے دوپٹے بنا لیے تھے۔
Hazrat Aisha (Radi Allahu Anha) se riwayat hai, unhon ne farmaya: Allah Tala in auraton par raham kare unhon ne pehle pehal hijrat ki! Jab yeh ayat-e-karima nazil hui: ''Apne duptte apne seenon par dale rakha karen.'' to unhon ne apni chadaron ko phaar kar in ke duptte bana liye thay.
وَقَالَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ شَبِيبٍ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، عَنْ يُونُسَ ، قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ : عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، قَالَتْ : يَرْحَمُ اللَّهُ نِسَاءَ الْمُهَاجِرَاتِ الْأُوَلَ لَمَّا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ : وَلْيَضْرِبْنَ بِخُمُرِهِنَّ عَلَى جُيُوبِهِنَّ سورة النور آية 31 شَقَّقْنَ مُرُوطَهُنَّ فَاخْتَمَرْنَ بِهَا
