باب كَاتِبِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم

Sahih al-Bukhari 4989

Narrated Zaid bin Thabit: Abu Bakr sent for me and said, You used to write the Divine Revelations for Allah's Apostle : So you should search for (the Qur'an and collect) it. I started searching for the Qur'an till I found the last two Verses of Surat at-Tauba with Abi Khuza`ima Al-Ansari and I could not find these Verses with anybody other than him. (They were): 'Verily there has come unto you an Apostle (Muhammad) from amongst yourselves. It grieves him that you should receive any injury or difficulty ...' (9.128-129)

سیدنا زید بن ثابت ؓ سے روایت ہے انہوں نے کہا کہ سیدنا ابوبکر ؓ نے مجھے بلا کر فرمایا: تم رسول اللہ ﷺ کے لیے وحی لکھا کرتے تھے لہذا تم ہی قرآن مجید کو محنت وجستجو سے جمع کرو، چنانچہ میں نے تلاش شروع کی تو سورہ توبہ کی آخری دو آیات جو ابو خزیمہ انصاری ؓ کے پاس لکھی ہوئی ملیں، ان کے علاوہ اور کہیں سے یہ آیات دستیاب نہ ہوسکیں۔ وہ آیات یہ تھیں  ﴿لَقَدْ جاءَکُمْ رَسُولٌ مِنْ أَنْفُسِکُمْ عَزِیزٌ عَلَیْهِ عَنِتُّمْ﴾

Sayyiduna Zaid bin Sabit (Radiyallahu Anhu) se riwayat hai unhon ne kaha ke Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (Radiyallahu Anhu) ne mujhe bula kar farmaya: Tum Rasoolullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke liye wahyi likha karte thay lehaza tum hi Quran Majeed ko mehnat wa justuju se jama' karo, chunancha main ne talash shuru ki to Surah Tauba ki aakhri do aayaat jo Abu Khuzaima Ansari (Radiyallahu Anhu) ke paas likhi hui milin, in ke alawa aur kahin se yeh aayaat dastyab na hosakin. Woh aayaat yeh thin (Laqad ja'akum rasoolum-min anfusikum azeezun alaihi anittum)"

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ ، عَنْ يُونُسَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، أَنَّ ابْنَ السَّبَّاقِ ، قَالَ : إِنَّ زَيْدَ بْنَ ثَابِتٍ ، قَالَ : أَرْسَلَ إِلَيَّ أَبُو بَكْرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : إِنَّكَ كُنْتَ تَكْتُبُ الْوَحْيَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَاتَّبِعِ الْقُرْآنَ ، فَتَتَبَّعْتُ حَتَّى وَجَدْتُ آخِرَ سُورَةِ التَّوْبَةِ آيَتَيْنِ مَعَ أَبِي خُزَيْمَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ لَمْ أَجِدْهُمَا مَعَ أَحَدٍ غَيْرِهِ : لَقَدْ جَاءَكُمْ رَسُولٌ مِنْ أَنْفُسِكُمْ عَزِيزٌ عَلَيْهِ مَا عَنِتُّمْ سورة التوبة آية 128 إِلَى آخِرِهِ .

Sahih al-Bukhari 4990

Narrated Al-Bara: There was revealed: 'Not equal are those believers who sit (at home) and those who strive and fight in the Cause of Allah.' (4.95) The Prophet said, Call Zaid for me and let him bring the board, the inkpot and the scapula bone (or the scapula bone and the ink pot). ' Then he said, Write: 'Not equal are those Believers who sit.. , and at that time `Amr bin Um Maktum, the blind man was sitting behind the Prophet . He said, O Allah's Apostle! What is your order For me (as regards the above Verse) as I am a blind man? So, instead of the above Verse, the following Verse was revealed: 'Not equal are those believers who sit (at home) except those who are disabled (by injury or are blind or lame etc.) and those who strive and fight in the cause of Allah.' (4.95)

سیدنا براء ؓ سے روایت ہے انہوں نے کہا کہ جب یہ آیت نازل ہوئی: ﴿لَا يَسْتَوِي الْقَاعِدُونَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ غَيْرُ أُولِي الضَّرَرِ وَالْمُجَاهِدُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ﴾  تو نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ’’سیدنا زید کو میرے پاس بلاو اور ان سے کہو کہ تختی، دوات اور شانے کی ہڈی لے کر آئے۔‘‘ جب وہ آئے تو آپ نے فرمایا: اس نبی ﷺ کو لکھو: ﴿لَا يَسْتَوِي الْقَاعِدُونَ﴾  اس وقت نبی ﷺ کے پیچھے ایک نابینا صحابی سیدنا عمرو بن ام مکتوم ؓ بیٹھے ہوئے تھے۔ انہوں نے عرض کیا: اے اللہ کے رسول! آپ کا میرے متعلق کیا حکم ہے؟ بلاشبہ میں تو نا بینا ہوں۔ تو اس موقع پر یہ آیت کریم بایں الفاظ نازل ہوئی: ﴿لَّا يَسْتَوِي الْقَاعِدُونَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُجَاهِدُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ غَيْرُ أُولِي الضَّرَرِ﴾

Sayyiduna Bara (Radiyallahu Anhu) se riwayat hai unhon ne kaha ke jab yeh aayat nazil hui: (La yastawil-qa'idoona minal-momineena ghairu ulid-darari wal-mujahidoona fee sabilillah) to Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: ”Sayyiduna Zaid ko mere paas bulao aur in se kaho ke takhti, dawat aur shaane ki haddi le kar aaye.” Jab woh aaye to aap ne farmaya: Is Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko likho: (La yastawil-qa'idoona) us waqt Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke peeche ek nabina sahabi Sayyiduna Amr bin Umm-e-Maktum (Radiyallahu Anhu) baithe hue thay. Unhon ne arz kiya: Ae Allah ke Rasool! Aap ka mere mutalleq kya hukum hai? Bilashuba main to na-bina hoon. To is mauqe par yeh aayat-e-kareema ba-een alfaaz nazil hui: (La yastawil-qa'idoona minal-momineena wal-mujahidoona fee sabilillahi ghairu ulid-darari)"

حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى ، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ ، قَالَ : لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ : لا يَسْتَوِي الْقَاعِدُونَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ سورة النساء آية 95 وَالْمُجَاهِدُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ سورة النساء آية 95 ، قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : ادْعُ لِي زَيْدًا وَلْيَجِئْ بِاللَّوْحِ وَالدَّوَاةِ وَالْكَتِفِ أَوِ الْكَتِفِ وَالدَّوَاةِ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : اكْتُبْ لا يَسْتَوِي الْقَاعِدُونَ سورة النساء آية 95 ، وَخَلْفَ ظَهْرِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَمْرُو بْنُ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ الْأَعْمَى ، قَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، فَمَا تَأْمُرُنِي فَإِنِّي رَجُلٌ ضَرِيرُ الْبَصَرِ ، فَنَزَلَتْ مَكَانَهَا : 0 لَا يَسْتَوِي الْقَاعِدُونَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُجَاهِدُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ غَيْرُ أُولِي الضَّرَرِ 0 .
