Narrated `Aisha: that the Prophet married her when she was six years old and he consummated his marriage when she was nine years old. Hisham said: I have been informed that `Aisha remained with the Prophet for nine years (i.e. till his death).
سیدہ عائشہ ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے جب ان سے نکاح کیا تو ان کی عمر چھے سال کی تھی اور جب ان کی رخصتی ہوئی تو عمر نو سال کی تھی۔ سیدنا ہشام نے کہا: مجھے بتایا گیا کہ سیدہ عائشہ ؓ آپ ﷺ کے ہاں نو برس تک رہیں۔
Sayyida Aisha (Radi Allahu Anha) se riwayat hai ke Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne jab un se nikah kiya to un ki umar che saal ki thi aur jab un ki rukhsati hui to umar nau saal ki thi. Sayyidna Hisham ne kaha: Mujhe bataya gaya ke Sayyida Aisha (Radi Allahu Anha) aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke haan nau baras tak rahin.
حَدَّثَنَا مُعَلَّى بْنُ أَسَدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَزَوَّجَهَا وَهِيَ بِنْتُ سِتِّ سِنِينَ ، وَبَنَى بِهَا وَهِيَ بِنْتُ تِسْعِ سِنِينَ ، قَالَ هِشَامٌ : وَأُنْبِئْتُ أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ عِنْدَهُ تِسْعَ سِنِينَ .
