Amr bin Umaiyya (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated, ‘that he saw the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) holding a shoulder piece of mutton in his hand and cutting part of it with a knife. Then he was called for the prayer whereupon he put down the shoulder piece and the knife with which he was cutting it, and then stood for prayer without performing ablution again.’
سیدنا عمرو بن امیہ ؓ سے روایت ہے، انہوں نے نبی ﷺ کو دیکھا کہ آپ کے ہاتھ میں بکری کا شانہ تھا جسے آپ چھری سے کاٹ کر کھا رہے تھے۔ پھر آپ کو نماز کے لیے بلایا گیا تو آپ نے وہ شانہ اور چھری جس سے گوشت کاٹ رہے تھے دونوں کو پھینک دیا، پھر کھڑے ہوئے نماز پڑھی اور (نیا) وضو نہ کیا۔
Sayyidna Amr bin Umayya (radi Allahu anhu) se riwayat hai, unhon ne Nabi (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) ko dekha ke Aap ke hath mein bakri ka shana tha jise Aap churi se kaat kar kha rahe thay. Phir Aap ko namaz ke liye bulaya gaya to Aap ne woh shana aur churi jis se gosht kaat rahe thay dono ko pheink diya, phir khare huay namaz parhi aur (naya) wuzu na kiya.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ ، أَنَّ أَبَاهُ عَمْرَو بْنَ أُمَيَّةَ أَخْبَرَهُ ، أَنَّهُ رَأَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَحْتَزُّ مِنْ كَتِفِ شَاةٍ فِي يَدِهِ ، فَدُعِيَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ فَأَلْقَاهَا وَالسِّكِّينَ الَّتِي يَحْتَزُّ بِهَا ، ثُمَّ قَامَ فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ .
